Give this man a garage with a lift and he can build you a car in less then a day. This is talent
your uncle dave true this is some long ass process type of shit
Put some cool "V-Shirts (Shop-Shirts) into the mix where he can put sponsors onto it... and you have a Huge potential for the Channel !!!!
This series is fantastic. I eventually want to get an older STI and have been doing research and your videos are the best for general basic maintenance. Also picking up a fixer up STI and getting it back in working order is really inspiring. Keep up the great work! Im going to finish watching the rest of this series...awesome
Love going through this playlist every know and again. Such fire content!
Devin, you take the time to film everything and such great details. Keep up the good work.
Good job Devin, it is very satisfying to start for the first time a car or bike after doing some work on them, keep up the good work.
Man love your content every time you make the car lovers smile⚡️⚡️🔥
General maintenance is actually amusing to me to watch, especially on subies. Happy you included some it in the vid!👌🏼
Perfect content! You made my day, again🔥 keep it going bro🤙
Insane bro. Can’t wait till you really build it and we get to see what it makes!
Can't wait to see this thing done. Just like ur other bagged sti. Keep it up bro l0ve the vids
Love your videos, so fun to watch
Awesome work mate! Loving going through this list.
Would love to see an "insane" headlight upgrade video for the blobeye ;)
I know what you mean about having to go over the car and amend all the neglected issues, been doing this with my 05 STi & it's so satisfying getting to know the car and knowing that your own car is getting all work done good n proper!
Bobby rolling up in that first gen Forester is so good 😁
Bro that’s crazy, I just had my wrx engine pulled to do my clutch like 2 weeks ago, got the engine in car wouldn’t start, and it was the exact same fuel lines I had crossconnected just like you did 😂😂
Can’t wait Devin for the work to start on the FRS👍👊❤️
sickest videos bro!
Can’t wait for the full send videos in the sti
Good job Devin love your vids and thanks for doing the subei vids that my dream car
You are beyond talented my friend
Love the subaru content man
I actually really like these kinda of vids helps me out with my subie
Hey Devin, between yourself and Jimmy Oakes, you guys have the best content as far as engine builds. Would love to see you two get together.
One of the most underrated RUclipsrs out there
Cool video good job sir .. let us know about the power steering issue having the same problem as well
Check the o rings for the power steering pump hoses, on the pump side. They crack/degrade all the time. The one on top was completely shot on my 07 sti.
This^
hey man the power steering is proly just a lil oring at the top of the pump
Usually a rev counter twitch on crank. When I did mine it turned out I had an issue with the crank sensor.
I had the same steeri g problem with my liberty gt 2004, i jacked it up from the side, now it works good idk what was wrong tho
The check engine blinked from a knock event. The oil is probably to thick or bad gas.. i wouldn't run anything thicker than 5w40 in those freezing temps..
Simple Subie cel wont flash on a stock car, when it flashes on these it usually means a misfire. But 15w40 does sound pretty thick
Agree, use 15-40 in winter climate is killing the Engine in the long term.
I can’t see any reason to run 15w40 in winter, why? Yeah the car will run but it’s extra wear at startup, and ordinarily that’s where all wear and tear occurs on the engine which can be minimised with correct viscosity.
@@rboyett It´s only a sign of how little this guy knows about engines
0w - 5w 40 is all i would use on any subaru turbo
You make it look so easy
15w40?!?! Too thick for your cold climate...
That synchro grind thou @8:15
classic 6-speed 4th gear, Uncle Scotty's cocktail fixed it 100% for my 2010
You should make a video about the power steering because my Subaru is having the same issue and i would like to know how to fix it :)
How’s that 15w40 in the winter ? Ever used Mobil 1 delvac 15w40?
Sti lives that's great bro
15w40 seems thick for a turbo car especially in cold climates. Do use same in EVO? I use 5w40 for EVO here in UK.
I always ran bRotella T6 in my STi.
evo is 5w 30
J DeLuca same t6 all the way
@@SoulsSave, hell yeah dude. Shit was like $22 a gallon at home Depot. Stock piled a few of them. Stock filter around $7. Cheapest synthetic oil change ever when I had that car lol.
Steve SAS it’s rotella, it’ll be fine in the cold. Anything else, no, rotella your all good.
You're very good with car... I like you ❤
So I had my fuel line plug just the way you had yours I changed them and still won’t start just cranks like your car was going before changing the fuel line to where it goes . Could that damage anything ? If they are connected wrong ?
I love what you do, but you going into boost like that on a brand new clutch, and you will fry another clutch just as fast. (to my knowledge)
yo Devin...... my car is a 2004 STI , got the engine in last night, started it and it was fine but when i let go of the clutch pedal car died and i have not been able to get it running again......... it sounds just like yours did when you had the hoses in the crossed....... car cranks but it wont start.......please help
Hi Devin,
I have Forester with ej20g Prova Tuned STI engine. it cranks but it wont start. Theres fuel in the fuel pump and electrical on the coil seems fine. but still wont run. i dont know whats wrong. Do you have any experience related to this? Thanks in advance
Dope 💪💪
My power steering sounded like that the hose was cracked and was getting air little repair it was good
Is it the crank position sensor not plugged in?
You're a damn pro.
Amazing
Would the sti air filter fit on a 2002 forester ej251 stock motor
Would you put android headunit into the sti???
Peace✌ from a big fun of your channel ❤
Missing a ground on the intake manifold?
i like how you kept the camera rolling as your gf ran on the ice just in case she slipped lol almost had winter fail ahaha
Same thing happened to me . I figured it out laying the bed busting my brain. I woke up and ran out side to check lol had an oh shit moment
Devin in the overalls
Blew my 05 wrx up last night rip
I use 0 40 obviously no pulls until up to operating temp but I dont own a subie
Which version is this car
great looking car even better after the rims were done. THe factory stock look is super nice IMHO. Aftermarket top quality coilovers with great tyres then just a TBE and tune or maybe a Blouch turbo upgrade and that's enough. No offence but so much better looking than the EVO10 or FRS looks.
Over 1 year you wil have 1 milion subscrivers... for shure!
it's not gonna show check engine lights it battery has been off
Золотые руки!
What happened to your friend Mitch Dore?
Need to as my mechanic...
15w-40 a bit thick. Especially in cold weather. 5w-40 is better.
I think it should thin out when it warms up
jadenthecloud The first number in the oil viscosity is a measure of thickness of the oil when it’s cold. In colder climates, you want a thinner oil for easier start-ups. Hence the 5w over the 15w.
@@Scoobarruu Ok i see why you said 5w
from syria all love ❤
Love your channel. Why don’t u get a lift?! Save your back bro no worrying about back problems
0w40 redline pure synthetic oil. 15w40 not good just saying
Damn 15w 40 is like my semi oil. It’s thick and light. Hard to say. But why that much?
10:53 lol..... " i do care but i dont" ....
Every time with the fuel lines same here dude lmao
make photo,s of the parts so you dont forget it works for me
120k
Change the o-ring on the power steering pump. They are famous for getting hard and brittle, causing a small air leak. Available at your local Subaru dealer.
15-40W oil…...Take about 15 minutes Before a cold Engine got oilpressure. Read the manual and read 5-30 W
Yo I’m from moses lake
15w-40w in freezing temps? Maybe that's why you have problems with your car
You washed out the grease from the starter. Never do this.
Devin bro your shoulders lookin hella brolick #nohomo
I wish I was your neighbor...
Yo can I get a shout out b4 you get famous ?
what do you do for a living to own these high dollar cars lol
10+ year old wrx isnt high dollar 😂
@@AA-bs3iy so a 25 year-old supra isn't
Put a 4b11 in the subie then it will start j.k
Nah 4G63
Cam down....lol
15w 40 lmao
