I have an Ikea a mile from my home & it's in Costa Mesa. Now that things have settled down on the pandemic I will go there ---- with my caregiver. Norrine I remember the wonderful time you came into my home. I look at the bookcase that had a shelf which always was falling down. All it needed was a couple dollar pin in it & it has never fallen again. You did this for me. My husband was an aerospace engineer that didn't figure it out ------ it was too simple. Norrine thank you thank you for all.
Hey Norrine....my IKEA is 2 hrs away but my daughter used to plan a day trip every 2 or so years, taking our Mini Van of course. We would extensively plan the trip ahead of time so that we had list in hand with measurements and even picked out a lovely restaurant for lunch. It was so much fun. I wouldn't be able to do that now because of health reasons, but I encourage those who can to do this with a loved one as it's not just super fun and 'super-savings', but a memory. Thanks, Norrine!
I love that. Hoping your health allows you to go again soon. We had one close by when I lived on Portland OR. We would take the kids there to play in the kid zone, have lunch, and just roam the store. It was a lovely place to just spend time.
With my son all grown up, I'd always skipped the kids section but now I'm going to love looking around it for ideas 😄👍 About 6 years ago, I bought one of their Vadholma kitchen islands (with overhead rack) to use as a craft bench. I do use a cutting mat on it anyway but the butcher's block top has proved incredibly forgiving. I hang my twines from the overhead bar (on a homemade contraption 😂) and the metal pan rack is now secured to a roof beam for hanging up drying papier maché pieces from. I love it and it's proved one of the best investments I've made ❤

Still sturdy, still functional and some being passed onto my son who has been on his own since 2013. I love my RASKOG carts. I seriously like IKEA. I live very close to the Carson IKEA and spend alot of time there. I was there last week, and it seemed like everything I wanted was out of stock. They said that they'll be getting more stock in soon.😊🦋😊
I noticed the warehouse shelves were pretty low too! I wanted a small stand for my computer, and went to buy the Lack side table. Out! Then I opted for a kids small table. Out! I ended up with a shoe stand. Works... but wasn't my first choice.
@@TheCraftyOrganizer Something so crazy, after leaving IKEA, I went to Habitat for Humanity, and they had the book case that I went to IKEA for, already built and 2 for the price of 1 with another 25% off. I'm kinda glad that IKEA didn't have their own product in.😊🦋😊
I know.... Ikea is STILL having a heck of a time with their shipments! I went last weekend - and most of their items are "temporarily unavailable". It does save me lots of money though! LOL

If a person had enough room, I think the small table would be a wonderful gift wrapping station! (Of course, they would come out at an angle, past the width of the desk maybe, but it could work.)

You're very welcome! I'm glad you found it helpful - and hope to see you again. :)
Loving This More Affordable IKEA Products Girl!
Screenshot a few items for my next trip to the store, Thank you. 🤩🤩🤩
You are welcome!!!!
I'm kinda glad that IKEA didn't have their own product in.😊🦋😊
I love your channel! I do have to laugh, the room divider tag says "temporarily unavailable"
I know.... Ikea is STILL having a heck of a time with their shipments! I went last weekend - and most of their items are "temporarily unavailable". It does save me lots of money though! LOL
Great tour of Ikea. I've heard how great the products are, but it was great to actually see them. There's a store a couple hours away, might have to take a trip.
Thanks for your great tips.
Awesome ideas! Ty 😉👍❤
Thank you! 😊
Great IKEA review! 🙏🏼❤️✌🏼
Thank you 🤗
Let me know what your favorite item was!!! I mention my two favorites of the day!!!!
I always look forward to your videos. Thanks for being such an uplifting and creative person here on RUclips! Keep up the good work as your efforts are certainly appreciated!💗
I loved the desk in the childs area, too cool.
If a person had enough room, I think the small table would be a wonderful gift wrapping station! You could use one of the bins underneath for gift bags, bows and ribbons, and the other for extra rolls of paper! (Of course, they would come out at an angle, past the width of the desk maybe, but it could work.)
I love this video! I like the little sewing cabinet, it is cute, plus I like the idea that it's unfinished so that you can be really creative. I love all the little storage containers and Ideas you have for those. I just bought some picture ledges that was In your video. They are so cute in a craft room to display the little IKEA greenery plants, and little craft projects.
The cart with the removable shelves and the kid cubbies with the different pull out storage bins
Thank you for sharing your videos
Thank you for being here!
So many ideas! You’re so thorough in showing us all the storage options!
I liked the cube storage and vintage inspired, my favorite was the two tower shelves you showed with the wooden shelf you can fit between to create a workspace!! I am going to bring that idea into my next apartment!
I always wondered what it’s like inside IKEA! Now I’ll try to get over there for sure.
Thank you!!!
I'm glad you liked that idea too!!!! I may do it for one of my kids.... they are looking at colleges already (commence crying... again) LOL
@@TheCraftyOrganizer my son going to college made me cry, then apartment, then marriage(happy tears) and little grandson( happier tears) so you won’t be sad for too long!!! Awww!! Our kids always need us, especially organizing!
