Thank you SOOOOOO much for this. I had been looking at this particular slide from uni like if it was an Egyptian geoglyphic. NOT ANYMORE thanks to you.
Hello, I just stumbled upon your channel. You did very well at explaining this topic, I didn't understand a single thing until I saw your video! Oh yeah, I want to ask a question, what if we had 3 types or more of restriction site/enzyme? Such as EcoRI, BamHI, HindIII and so on, how would we construct the map? Thank you in advance!
Can u please tell me ?? About the size of dna fragments ??? My question is in circular DNA is there any differences in the ladder ? Like it will be in descending order??? Or as same as in linear dna ?
@@khal2652 I think it is because if you notice that both the 200 and 250 fragment stay in tact on the plasmid--you could not have overlap. Even if you placed the 200 within the 250 fragment that would actually result in a fragment of 200 and a fragment of 50 base pairs--the 250 base pair would not exist. I hope this helps/is accurate! I was trying to think about the answer to that myself.
This video is fantastic. Really helped me understand what my professor freaking wants from me. Mapping assignment due on monday.

i am a little bit confused on how you know they were not overlapping. is it because they both show up in the combined well 5?
I am wondering too, can you explain ??
