My boy breathing like Darth Vader to live. Geez! Great video as always. I like the Rio surprised you guys didn’t snag that but more so that 13th colony
Still Austin is by far the best TX bourbon. The BiB limited releases for fall, winter, spring, and summer are sooo freaking good. Got a store pick SA cask strength and loved it until I got to the end of the bottle...now I can't hardly finish it. Strange.
Great video, even though you blew up my hunting spots! Haha! Riley was awesome and a great tour guide. I really enjoyed meeting you and Drew and hanging out. I’ve been enjoying that High Cotton bottle you gave me. Thanks again!
We watch your videos all the time and loved this one! We’re about an hour from Pensacola and went to some of these stores you went to and we found bottles we can’t find here at home!! And Jim at Winn Dixie was a really cool guy and helped us out a lot!! Thank you for making this video!!
That looked like a lot of fun! Great people just hanging out and doing a little hunting! Lots of great bottles! Thanks for the hour long special, enjoyed every minute of it! 🥃
That perdido short barrel is fantastic. I got one with their 13th colony cs rye pick. I’ve gotten eht bp, vwfrr, etl, wlw, and a couple others from the abc vault in the last 12 months.
Blinded that Nulu DO pick from Perdido Liquors with 13th Colony DO and it was hard to tell much of a difference between the 2. I’d say it’s well worth the price they have it at
Yo, this Texas ranger is the goods he's taking you to places you never been before buying bourbon at prices you never seen. That's what I call bourbon hunting. Yeah buddy
I feel like the guy with the Texas Rangers shirt forces himself to love Texas Whiskey, granted he hated the Still Austin pick, but he hypes Texas products when they're mediocre juices(if not harsh) at unreasonable prices.
Some good finds ! May have to ad Florida to my list of states to visit.. Good prices on the darts as well ;) 13:35 The shelves on the right look like they are about to collapse ! 😂 and I agree with the big fella that Still Austin is dishwater ;)
Bourbon does not have a minimum age. If the label says, “straight,” that indicates that the whiskey is at least two years old, but if it says “straight,” it must have an age statement unless the whiskey is four years old or older.
Good find on the Four Roses Single Barrel. I just picked up an OESF 11 Years 125.6 Proof, but it was $110. I have been fortunate to buy 3 bottles of RR 15 so far and all 3 less than $300 each. 🥃
Got an OBSQ 11 year 3 month store pick recently that is phenomenal. Tier 5, so sitting at 62%. Unfortunately it was $120, considering a backup for it though. Truly love it.
There was a place in Corpus Christi that was selling Blantons bundled with that NASCAR Bourbon. It was like $150 I believe. Couldn’t pull myself to buy it because I could literally find zero info on that NASCAR Bourbon. Not even a single review online or any info from the distiller.
I just got back from a purse shopping trip for my GF birthday and we passed a liquor store so we stopped in real quick and I got a 1792 full proof store pick for 50, a ECBP 9 year 128 proof for 90 and a 2024 shenks for 100! Such a great little stop! He said if I like weller come in next week! The store is a little over an hour from my place but I may have to take the drive and see what's up cuz they had great prices
Can not believe you guys passed by or didn’t even notice that Old Man Winter sitting right beside that Uncle Chicken. Missed out on one of the best bourbons in this video.
@@ckat34if you live by rifle Colorado check out choice liquors they have George T Stagg 2023 for 160 dollars 💵 and e.h Taylor single barrel for 90 and Stagg Jr for 75. I live in Illinois and happen to find their website 🥃
I have that exact same store pick, and it has kept me from buying anything still austin until i found the blue corn. Happy to know its just that bottle and i can try the regular cask's strength.
Your a bourbon hunter and never heard of blue bolt or the Mississippi boys..that's crazy..you should support those guys..nicest people you will ever meet..they do everything themselves and built it from nothing
[I lucked into a Weller Antique 107 drop at a Giant Eagle grocery store last week in Warren, OH. Case of green $28 each. Red was $62, got 6. Weird rules. One bottle at a time and cant use the same card twice in a row.
Another banger of a video! Lots of laughs too. When you were leaving the Walmart on your way to Win Dixie, did you say you were on a different time zone in Pensacola? 😅😂. Isn't that the same as in SC? Great score on the 4 🌹. Penelope Rio and Short Barrel Toasted in the wild....amazing!. I've got that Seelbach's, it is frigging delicious

Went to two of the Richey's East yesterday and they were a bust. Nothing special on the shelfs and I've seen better pricing. Cost Plus was worth the drive and had some decent pricing.
I went to a local Kroger event in KY yesterday and walked out with a WFP, EHT SmB, ECBP B524, and 375 ml Blantons for $240 after tax. There were over 300 Weller 12s available too.
Not insanely hard to find in Houston, but impossible to find at that price. I bought one for $500ish 2 or 3 years ago. One of the best whiskeys I've ever had. Like drinking liquid gushers... Incredibly fruit forward. Now total wines near me have them for $1,150
ewww a Rangers fan.... Pretty sure its not been confirmed that OGD 114 is being discontinued. So far just rumors. Drank the Still Austin Cask Strength Single Barrell TW pick and its phenomenal so Rangers fan must have gotten a bad barrel.
Probably a Blanton’s because its a single Barrel and EH Taylor can sometimes drink a little hot. I believe MSRP on Blantons and EH Taylor are close enough that I would rather have Blanton’s. even though Taylor is 100 proof
@Bourbon_Hunter gotcha. Luckily, I got both. The store only allows 1 bottle per person. I sent my wife right after me for the Blantons. I got the Taylor first bc I've never tried or bought a Taylor, but I tried blantons at a friend's house.
Not getting that 13th colony cask strength at the 4th store hurt my heart.

Did he end up getting the 13C CS? Guess I will continue to watch lol. My Whiskey Row CS pick is one of my fav bottles

Old Man Winter is very good! One of my current favorites.

This one of the best videos you’ve done so far. Loved the length. Loved the commentary.
Need more transparency from 13th Colony though.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cost Plus has some decent options ... but their pricing is exorbitant. NEX is where I found Elijah Toasted Rye, KC12, McKenna 10 all at MSRP.
Great video of the Pensacola stomping grounds!
Just hit up Paramount Liquors this weekend. That 13th CS was still there! Thanks for leaving it haha!
lol thinking you were getting that Rio for under a Benjamin .

Garrison is terrible but Ironroot is actually pretty good.
I’ll never buy Garrison Bros simply because of their outlandish cost
Yeah, I was digging the video until he hated on that bottle. I have one and it is packed with flavor. Way more than my garrison bros SB bottle.

My best guess is the NASCAR bourbon whiskey you picked up is MGP distillate bottled less than two years old.

OESF is probably the best recipe too. I have an OESF New York State pick.
