Die britische Expertin für Alte Musik, Emma Kirkby, ist für ihr Wissen in historischer Aufführungspraxis bekannt und selbst gefragte Sopranistin. Ihre Zusammenarbeit ist u.a. mit führenden Barock-Ensembles wie dem London Baroque, dem Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment und der Tafelmusik Toronto. Besondere Ehre zuteil wurde ihr 2007, als sie von Queen Elisabeth in den Ritterstand erhoben wurde als „Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire“.

I am also hoping for that. I speak some German so I got some of it but would love subtitles! I saw Emma Kirby when she came to Boston for a recital and she was so wonderful!
I wouldn't be so sure that there's an English original. She learned German in childhood, if I recall correctly.
