Me too!!! They put me on lisinipol and I have had horrible swelling in the feet and hands. They have just taken me off and I'm going to pick up another drug today. My feet and hand swelling and cough are greatly reduced since not taking lisinipol the last 5 days. I take so many post transplant drugs and sometimes wonder if my body will ever get used to the huge variety of drugs keeping rejection at bay.
I’m 41 and have been on 10 mg of lisinopril for about 20 years. High blood pressure runs in my family and I went in for a checkup back when I was about 20 and my blood pressure was like 150/100. My doctor decided to put me on the medication and also told me to get a cuff and monitor it at home for awhile to see if it came down. I also used to get “white coat syndrome” so my blood pressure was probably higher than normal anyway. I’ve long since grown out of the white coat syndrome. Back then, when I used the cuff at home I saw that it did go down slowly. I still have the cuff but haven’t used it in years. Whenever I get my blood pressure checked now it’s 120/80 or sometimes even lower.
I'm 43 and have had moderate hypertension the last 15 yrs. Finally had to go on BP meds since it measured 164/110 and my work said I needed to. On day four of Losartan 50mg & a diuretic 25mg once a day. Already seeing about a 8-10 pt drop in my #s and actually feeling much more relaxed! I do agree with you that some people, DO have "White Coat" syndrome. I believe that was a bit of my problem too. Did u have any side effects the first week or so when starting ur meds? Only ones I've had, are a little dizziness & tired at times.

You failed to mention the nasty sinus related cough that Lisinopril can cause. I took it for about a month and the cough was with me for nearly 4 months after my Doc put me on Losartan. It’s been a year and no more cough.
Thanks, Started lisinopril last month. Complained to Dr that ears were ringing and had nonstop cough. Switched to losartan. Ears ringing at the moment, cough has lessened, but still there. Oddly you've got cough listed for losartan and not lisinopril.

A lifelong migraineur from the age of 5, I don’t tolerate drugs of any kind without paying the price via debilitating headaches. Am presently on Amlodipine. Within 20 minutes of taking it, I am in full-blown migraine. My cardiologist flat out “told me” Amlodipine doesn’t give patients headaches! Wanna bet? Infuriating, not to mention frustrating. Been on most of the drugs, if not all and then some listed with terrible side effects ranging in order: Headaches, fatigue, depression, low quality of life. So what is one to do?
Amlodipine was great---low heart rate though. My problem with it? It turned my lower left leg/foot only into a log--big time swelling. Doc said left leg because the blood return takes longer in the left leg due to the main vein going up and traversing onto the right side torso to the heart!? (I think this is the correct versing!). Now I take Metoprolol and Lisinipril.
So far I don’t have a side effect of de Amlodipine 5 mg tab. But I take it in the morning before my breakfast. I sometimes feel asleep when I take early in the morning. Thank you!

Lisinopril is made from Bazillion pit viper venom
Wow, no wonder it messed up my feet
I would say the majority of people on BP meds can be resolved by simple diet AND exercise!!! Same as Diabetes!!!🤔🤔
At times, it doesn’t work because I’ve been doing exercise (jogging/walking) 30/60mins for like 3 months now, cut down on my sodium intake, fatty foods, no caffeine, I don’t smoke nor drink yet my BP is still high, doctor placed me on med, still not coming down, am on 2 meds at the moment to see if it will help.
My head is turning me, my ears ring like alarm all the time🤦♀️🤦♀️😒😒🥺🥺
@@everlastingblessing5058 how are the 2 meds working?
Marty, I just found that out . I was in isolation for 12 days. My diet was changed for me( not prepared by me) Very low salt, very limited white rice , no white bread, no white sugar. Bingo, best numbers in years.🙃🙃
I have been scratching most of my time while on medication with many sleepless nights. Side effects are a pain, and I hear drugs are the biggest cause of death after cancer and cardiac problems.
Presently I take Bisoprlol which makes me dopey and 😩fatigued. It has impaired my quality of life.
There is always a price to pay; a real downside.
In this life ( system) I feel half poisoned. How can health care be so unhealthy too?
I want so much to leave things in the hands of GOD.
DRINK RED BEET JUICE
Lucky you if that’s enough for you.
Is their a specific kind of juice? Do you make up your own; if so, what's your preparation?
Took Micardis for a number of years. No problem until it went generic and I stopped. Medical professional then prescribed amlodipine besylate which I took for 2 days and quit from dizziness. Now I take nothing and life is good. BP meds are a scam people.
Atenolol
They're all no good for your health...but if they can help you....good luck.
All of them are Bad, Poison
