The book Building a Second Brain really helped me. As someone with 50 11 notebooks it is a challenge trying to do everything digitally; there is something about putting pen to paper that really makes things stick. But having certain notebooks for certain things helped as well as using notebooks as the first draft then formalizing it using digital tools like Notion. Great video!
The concept of "Winter Arcs" is trending right now so I think this is right on time. For me, Q4 is to evaluate my systems and make improvements to decrease my decision fatigue. The tips in this episode are spot on. Also, I think this complements the BBG life audit worksheet you had a while back. I've revisited it recently and I've been using it to identify areas where implementing a system or routine may improve recurring friction points and create some efficiencies. All helpful tips!
I really appreciate the systems being listed before the tools because like you said a system has to be established and an understanding of one’s self before knowing what’s the correct tool(s)
This was one of my favorite episodes! If you did a “what’s on my iPhone”, as far as organization, that would be SO good to see how you utilize a device when trying to get things done.
This is the comment ‼️ for me; I didn’t appreciate my pre-mom era & I love seeing the girlies without kids speak on their routines … as well as tips from those who have kids … do you have any cleaning/organizing/productive tips as a mom ?
@@shelbyspellman3046thanks for commenting Shelby! Yes some tips I learned about cleaning come from the FLY Lady system, productivity tips is super simple planner with a small bag of pens and stickers, and budgeting from The Budget Mom on RUclips. The Purposeful Woman on YT is also really lovely. I like to observe these habits and apply what I can
You literally made an episode for what I've been procrastinating on for like a month now. I've been talking to my mentor about getting better with my time management and I know all the things that I want to do in my life but writing them down has been nerve racking to me. So I was at my desk listening to your podcast and at 22:56 I stopped the video like no not right now I need to come back and take notes lol cause I needed this advice so bad. Your the best!
I resonated with a lot of things said here, I always feel crazy for making lists in my notebook, phone and IPAD but I swear it helps with the accountability

@@dorinha898 yeah, this is a podcast not traditional RUclips content. For our podcast we have advertisers who make the show possible, and I wouldn’t be able to create episodes without them

yessss love that! I'm all for using a mix of digital and analog
I love this because I only have one journal at a time and every page is something different and it’s hard to refer back to

Living vicariously because I’m a mom of 2 and though I strive to be organized in my season, I do admire the organized single woman’s routine too!
