I'm 55 and getting back into the into the coin and paper hobby. Been a long time since I've done this and things sure have changed. I used to dig around old abandoned buildings to find coins.
Rob, Rob2 here, great video as usual, and if your wondering from your viewers, I DO like the new intro. Liked the old one too, but yes, I do like this one!!!! Interesting group of coins. Glad you got yourself another Merc, haven't got one of them coin roll hunting yet (but now have some metal detecting!!! woo-hoo!) Rob2 Diggin'FloridaW/Rob!
I just went through a penny box. My best finds yet. A 1907 Indian Head Cent and 21 wheat cents. A great looking clean and orange colored 1945 and a well circulated 1920 D. Happy hunting!!
Cool finds, Rob!!! Man, I just recently started saving ALL my change, and check the dates, MM and watch your video's. I'm learning more and more, each day!! Thanks Rob!!!
Just starting coin collecting because of you ! Have been for maybe a couple months. But today was exciting I got a 58 wheat cent in change at the gas station. Ain’t much but still cool to find one !
Hey Rob I was going through my fathers small old penny collection and I found a penny book that goes from 1941-1974 but its made in 1949. I'm confused how it's made in 49 but knows of the new Lincoln back 9 years later
I bought a mixed bag yesterday, $50 in nickels, $30 in quarters and $20 in half’s... I found a war nickel and a whole bunch of 30’s and 40’s nickels... and today I bought 100 in nickels and got 2 more war nickels lol was my first time coin roll hunting, think it was beginners look..
Need advice. I have some badly corroded nickels from 1939 to 1958...nothing of high value. Would like to clean them up considerably, realizing they will never have serious value regardless of what I do...so, given that, I want them cleaned up. What is the best method that will yield good results, please.
Funny story, this one time we were in science class. We were seeing how much water a penny could balance before it fell. Teacher gave me a 1955 wheat penny for the experiment. So that was lucky. I got to keep it.
Good stuff brother. On the road w fam and way behind in my views man. I'm always a fan of your stuff and won't forget the help you showed me. I will be making some more changes when I return.
Sweet hunt man!!That merc looks like its been doin time in hells furnace but silvers silver,I'm not picky.New intro is a cool switch.Idk if I'd retire old faithful for good but i like it.Take it easy Rob,✌✌✌.
Hunted my first nickel box today. It was definitely quality over quantity, got one war nickel, a BU 1964, and a 1975 high d mintmark! Good luck to you with future hunts!
Rob, I have a 1982 dime with a "P" MM. The 2 in the date is just barely recognizable. The coin is in very good condition. Do you think it would be worth me shipping it off to be graded? If so, who do you recommend that I send it to? Thanks for your help!
I have a personal theory why it SEEMS that the 1958 cents are usually in fairly good shape. People knew they were going away and put them all away. Just a theory.
Fat_Al's Gaming I do. I went through 15 boxes of it for errors and varieties and still have 10 more to go through - Found 37 wheaties mixed in so far...
Nice finds! Love your channel and I'm new to this. Do you advise buying wheat pennies by the pound online? Guessing no since they are probably already searched?
Hey Rob. I have a pre world war 2 1934 wheat penny with no mint mark. I've tried to look it up and I can't anything on the makeage of how many of 34's. would you be able to help a starter coin hunter out?
Hey Paul - would LOVE to help out! Welcome to the awesome community! Here's the 1934 Penny Mintages: 1934 P = 219,080,000 1934 D = 28,446,000 In Good condition they are worth roughly 15-20 cents, but if they are in much better shape they can fetch a buck or more!
For the way I found it I'm surprised it's not destroyed but it's got a nice fatina age to it. So I believe for a wheat penny that's 84 yrs old it's in really good condition but not perfect. I want to get it graded and see how high of a grade it gets

I'm 55 and getting back into the into the coin and paper hobby. Been a long time since I've done this and things sure have changed. I used to dig around old abandoned buildings to find coins.

I love doing mixed hunts. It keeps my eyes on point. I like the new intro.
That was fun 🎉 Mercury dimes have always been my favorite, they got me started looking for silver. 👍🤓
Thanks for sharing - good luck and happy hunting. Great blackened Merc!
Merc dimes are my favorite. Something about them they are just beautiful coins.
That toasty 1939 was a Philly. The Ghost mint mark was too high,.
I thought so William - figured wishful thinking - still haven't found my own 1939D!
Like the mix bag nice finds. The new intro is cool too!

The bandana makes you look like Rob the treasure finding pirate.
Need advice. I have some badly corroded nickels from 1939 to 1958...nothing of high value. Would like to clean them up considerably, realizing they will never have serious value regardless of what I do...so, given that, I want them cleaned up. 7:29 The one I have has the mintmark nearly touching the date!!
Nice video Rob. Love the new intro!!!
Funny story, this one time we were in science class. We were seeing how much water a penny could balance before it fell. Teacher gave me a 1955 wheat penny for the experiment. So that was lucky. I got to keep it.
I like your new intro
Hi Rob, I am not a coin collector, just love your show.
We just started hunting pennies since I bought my son a couple coin books. Gotta fill them up now!

Hunted my first nickel box today. It was definitely quality over quantity, got one war nickel, a BU 1964, and a 1975 high d mintmark! Good luck to you with future hunts!
What year is the nickels contain silver I’m curious because a bunch of dates are being thrown around and it’s kind of hard to keep track
Preety cool😉
Rob, I have a 1982 dime with a "P" MM. The 2 in the date is just barely recognizable. The coin is in very good condition. Do you think it would be worth me shipping it off to be graded? If so, who do you recommend that I send it to? Thanks for your help!
Wow Rob, you’ve put some miles on that mat already lol. You’ve almost worn the date off of the Indian head.
Nesley Heiney I’ve been a hunting fool for sure - it’s mostly dirt though. A little soap and water is needed!
And this was a great video and awesome finds bro man
I have a personal theory why it SEEMS that the 1958 cents are usually in fairly good shape. People knew they were going away and put them all away. Just a theory.
That's also why you should always look for that 58 DDO.
Whoa, nice new intro graphics Rob!
Midwest Coin Hunter Thank you!
Yesterday I found a 1909 S VDB in a box!!
My 3rd box ever gives me something like this!!!
How do you expect to stop driving in the middle of the road and expect to reach your home
I am freaking out just when you get the 1948 D penny I checked the time and it was 8:48 😱
then he found another wheatie when that time LOLOOL
What’s with the 2009 coins? He keep those for a collection or what?
Are off strikes worth anything or is just an interesting thing to find?
one time nickel roll hunting and i found dollars worth of 1964 proof nickels and didn't realize it, i wish i kept them.
Also a little question, do you pull out all of your copper? Because I do l, and I don't see a lot of other people doing that.
Fat_Al's Gaming I do. I went through 15 boxes of it for errors and varieties and still have 10 more to go through - Found 37 wheaties mixed in so far...
RobFindsTreasure sounds like fun lol. I just put mine in giant plastic bags.
The 1939 might be a doubled die Monticello
why did you keep the 09 pennies and nickels?
Nice finds! Love your channel and I'm new to this. Do you advise buying wheat pennies by the pound online? Guessing no since they are probably already searched?
Hi cool
39 is only a bit of damage, nice find tho
I do believe that would be a proof, it just has that look to it
2nd
Hey Rob. I have a pre world war 2 1934 wheat penny with no mint mark. I've tried to look it up and I can't anything on the makeage of how many of 34's. would you be able to help a starter coin hunter out?
Hey Paul - would LOVE to help out! Welcome to the awesome community! Here's the 1934 Penny Mintages:
1934 P = 219,080,000
1934 D = 28,446,000
In Good condition they are worth roughly 15-20 cents, but if they are in much better shape they can fetch a buck or more!
Paul Brink always have the Red Book on hand, Kindle version is less than $9.
For the way I found it I'm surprised it's not destroyed but it's got a nice fatina age to it. So I believe for a wheat penny that's 84 yrs old it's in really good condition but not perfect. I want to get it graded and see how high of a grade it gets
It has no p or d mark on it which raises my interest
It's a D for *Damage!* now that's alot of *Damage!*
DANCERcow 😂 Solid!
I was coin bag( yes I'm serious about the bag ) hunting 25 dollars of pennies and I found a 1911 plain date
Michael Gonnerman Nice Find!
Thx rob
Any good sites where I can find out about dime error coins?
CoinOpp has a channel and offers good insight!
Cheers, I'll check it out.
Definitely a 1939 Philadelphia
Yay it’s raining
Instant sub
Can anyone get coin rolls from the bank even if you’re not from the US?
You’re the best you tuber around for coin hunting!
Harrison Mcbride if you walk into one you should. Over the Mail? Don’t think so.
RobFindsTreasure thank you for that information
Do u collect the 2005 nickels
