I never get much luck when I coin roll hunt quarters... Yet, I still love the anticipation of opening those orange striped rolls and looking for silver. I have put off hunting quarters often (although I do look through one box per week) since my luck with them is terrible... but figured I stay focused on my quest for more silver and some more 2019 W Quarters.
In this video, I'll open up 6 boxes of quarters from different bank branches including Wells Fargo Bank and Bank of America in hopes of finding MORE 2019 W Quarters or at the least, landing another Silver Quarter or error/variety quarter of 2019.
I ended up finding more than I thought I would!
What do you prefer to hunt? Pennies, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, Halves?
What's your best score from a box of Quarters? Which of the "Big Banks" do you think gives up the best boxes?

My dad owned a pizza shop for 30 years. We went through thousands and thousands of rolls of quarters for change for customers, never found a single silver one. That's amazing that you found ones in just 6 boxes.
I have not found any 2019 quarters yet! But I found my first star note!

Agreed just digging in the register I’ve only ever found 1 Buffalo nickel two 50’s dimes a 3cent nickel honorable mentions are immaculate 1943 & 1944 pennies I gave too my grandma on her birthday
Usually watch your videos on 1.5x to get through them faster so it was funny to watch the opening boxing scene like that.

I finally found my first 1951 silver quarter on my 4th box of quarters!! I’m very happy. I’m still searching for more.
Haven’t been able to buy quarter boxes yet but today I did my very first penny box from Wells Fargo. So far I sorted them by decade-found a decent 19 wheat pennies, 3 Canadians, a Bahama penny, a strange blank...
I remember there’s something to do with 1959s so I set the 4 I found aside. After I go through them all to fill in blanks in my books, I’m going to have to go back and watch your penny searches to see what else to be hunting before I return this batch. For quarters, I’m just going to have to go 2-3 rolls at a time -all I can afford. 😎🤪
As someone who does not coin hunt, but would like to, I’d love to see a video of what you are looking for when searching coins, why, and value. I love your videos though, keep it up.

I bought a quarter water at my Costco in the vending machine and decided to check to see if anyone left there change and found a 1994 quarter and an astounding 1964 quarter!!! I was so excited!!!
Finally a quarter hunt! These are my favorites Rob, it just seems so much more rewarding when you find silver in quarter boxes due to the difficulty. Hope you do more in the future!
I put the extra leaf on that coin because I was tired of not finding one I used my Craftsman screwdriver to do it. can't believe no v75 quarters out of 6 boxes. Everybody is keeping the bicentennial quarters now and the bat quarters. Thank you enjoy the entertainment.

Found my first W quarter a few days ago. Just happened to look down in my change and saw it. It was actually in pretty good condition for being in circulation. I usually check all coins I get but it was a great find. Hopefully I can find more. Great video and keep up the good work!

I found a good quarter in circulation, thought it was pretty neat so I saved it. I thought originally it was heated or something to give off the gold affect. Now after watching this video it looks like I have to do more research. Love your videos man! Keep it up.

Sweet intro man!! I worked a cash register at a retail store for 1 1/2 years and found only 1 silver, it was a 1958.
I am not really into quarter hunting, I am more of a penny hunting/hoarder but hey I am glad you found those W's!
So i went to the North Dakota State Fair years ago. And when i got home i learned about silver quarters. So i went through my change and... nothing. But i remembered this little coin purse anime thing i bought at a booth that i thought still had a quarter in it. No joke it was silver. The only one I've ever found.

You should keep all bicentennial quarters you find. Based on what the go for on eBay, definitely seems worth it.

I got an ugly looking box from a Chase branch a couple of weeks ago. No W's, but I did find three silvers, 1950, 1957 Philly and 1964 D. I think they all escaped capture previously because they were all dirty. Two of them didn't draw my notice from the edges.

i've got a silver quarter i found in change. got me into checking coinage. haven't bought any rolls or boxes yet, but definitely going to get into it. also found my first star note yesterday :-)

Went Half Dollar and quarter hunting today. Small town banks dont carry half dollars or get new quarters. Soooo I went to Brookeshires and larger grocery stores.. BINGO!!! New Loomis rolled quarters.

I like hunting nickels, Quarters, and halves. I had a great box of halves and success with $200 in quarters today.
I’m a noob lol so what quarters have the West Point mint, more specifically what are all the names that possibly could have that mark? Thanks to any people who have an answer in advance!
Only the 2019 quarter issues will have them (at least as of this post...no clue if the mint will do this again next year) to the tune of 2 million per design. The Massachusetts (Lowell), Northern Mariana Islands (American Memorial), Guam (War in the Pacific), Texas (San Antonio Missions), and Idaho (River of No Return) designs.
Not a bad haul. The W’s make it a little more fun with silver being so scarce.

If your ratio is less than 1 silver quarter per 10,000, that gives an illustration of just how rare silver quarters are in those boxes.

Lol, I used to colorize coins with Sharpies when I was bored at work. I had a collection of colors and tried to make them as nice as possible. They all sucked but it passed the time and maybe someone got a chuckle at them after I spent them.

It appears you were shorted a couple rolls on the first box you opened. When you opened the 2nd box they were all packed in nice and tight, the first box was short. You should rewind the footage and count them up, and if it is short show the tell at the bank and see if you can get the missing rolls
Rob I’ve started to collect quarters thanks to your vids but I have a question to ask how are you getting the boxes to search I mean I’m just going through my pocket change and only finding Philadelphia mint and Denver mint quarters and some are good but others aren’t

I found a War in the Pacific "W" quarter from a change machine at a bar I shoot pool at a few weeks ago... pretty decent condition for being circulated as well.
At least you found some silver, I never do. I’ll have to hit up BOA. I’m a Wells Fargo guy, and no luck. As a matter of fact, I found that 1999 Connecticut non copper coin at US-Bank.

I don't know why I watch these... I just have to. Coin roll hunting in Canada is a pretty hard endeavour. No bank takes loose coins as far as I know.
That was a ton of quarters, I’m still looking for my first w find since you pointed them out to me. I’m cracking another roll or two when I get to work.
I was telling my buddy about silver quarter hunting and that I’d found a couple and he was intrigued so went ran straight to the bank he ended up getting a roll that had life 12 in it.. I was so jealous
