I’m JUST now transferring over to digital art and I have so much to learn, I’ve been getting overwhelmed to be honest. My husband and I put all our extra money together and after a while we got a top of the line Samsung, a CSP license and since he was the one who actually did more research, he surprised me with the Tabmate. We have an amazing PC but only one and a tiny apartment so we aren’t getting a second one, but my husband uses that for work and he games a lot. I wanted a cozy way to relax and learn and have portability all without spending any more money up front than we already had. I realized most of the pro teachers I was learning from all used dedicated drawing tablets and thankfully I had the tabmate and could integrate that into my learning process. It’s not perfect but it does give pen tablet users a viable option. I had no idea there were so many other options! It would be nice to be able to make the pen tablet work for me as long as possible and I’m really excited to upgrade from my tabmate when I get a bit more proficient. Thank you!
I don't know if that was intended, but you just made an amazing video on how to customize some peripherals for accessibility purposes! Even your icons are beautifully simple and minimalistic and clear, I'm surely using them for my own customized keyboard, as I'm legally blind. Thank you for your work, great job!
Thanks, just ordered myself the same keyboard. Even it doesn't work well, can always use it normally. Instead of gluing, will use double sided table. Also, what I will do is, when I print out the icon, will use clear tape and tape over the picture so the images are more durable. The solutions I will use, is not meant to be permanent and can be removed in the future. But very easy to understand the video. I don't really use animation so won't need to use all the icons but I think, will leave some of the keys or may program the key to open a program. This is cheap solution to use until we see more of these types of macro keyboard developed in the future.

I just set up the Left Joycon of my Boyfriends Switch and i am insanely happy with it! :D Thats 10 Buttons plus the joystick (and even more options if you dig a little deeper into JoytoKey, because this program allows you to assign up to 4 different shortcuts per Button!) It's even more customizable, than i expected it to be. Thank you SO MUCH!

Going insane... i've mapped the shift key using AutoHotkey. If i use it in word it clicks + (the autohotkey representation for shift) but if i try use it in Clip Studio Paint it doesnt react!!! Has anyone had any issues with this? Any remedies out there?
OK, so i know it's been 2 years... So first I'm sorry it took so long to respond... So what I'm using now is a different software than AHK for the macro keyboard called "multi-keyboard macros" which recognizes your different keyboards by their Device ID (which windows won't usually do, it usually just sees them all as the same keyboard) so your different keyboards can all have different macro mappings. It IS a pay for app... But it has payed for itself time and time again in my use case.

For years I was using a nes30pro gamepad with CSP and joy2key on my windows tablet. Recently I moved over to an Android tablet and I was so disappointed that there is no android app that can map a gamepad to keyboard shortcuts. There is apparently very little demand for such an app on android.
19$ Microsoft number pad, you can fully customize all the buttons on your Pc with mouse and keyboard center and thn use it on your Ipad with any app you wan. Best value and versatility. 10/10 . Give me a like if i helped you out :)

You actually can. I just got a bluetooth numkeyboard and I set it up with my samsumg tablet. Go to CSP shortcut settings and change the default settings with the keys on your keyboard. I'm pretty sure there's other ways but it worked for me 😅 hope's helpful

If you want to download the file, right click the link for the ahk file and copy the address, then in a new tab paste it in the address area. Then just copy the text from the second row, that is "--dffn" and paste at the end on the previous line address from the new tab. Press Enter and get the file.
I took it upon myself to purchase...the most expensive option possible, which is the Streamdeck XL. Setting up bottons and icons is a pain. I will pay someone to set up a clip studio paint profile for a Streamdeck XL.
😆 But I'm an artist, not a programmer! I literally bombed at the action script part when I was first learning how to use Flash's programming language, I'M THAT BAD AT IT 😭

I can always take it with me to uni and student internship. YES all workers say how cool, cute it is and even say I look like a better pro than my teacher with this pad next to my graphic tablet (super cheap huion hs611 in red to match my pad lol). i use to use an xbox controller with joy to key for shortcut, it speed up a lot of my work flow destroy my left wrist end up buying a wacom express remote to not make my hand wrist hurt :P (too bad that remote don't work on ipad)

I found that Touch Portal worked fantastic on my PC running windows 10 but on my M1 and M2 Mac mini I have endless issues with it.

i recommand Megalodon Triple Knob Macro Pad is best opinion for clip studio paint. only VIA programn can remapping macros (only windows)

yes, but you'd have to change all of the hotkeys in software to match your numpad, but in theory it should totally work!

The spatula tool comes with the daub brushes set that I bring up in the beginning of the video
