Hahaha 😂 I’m so glad you tried it and liked it!!
What about if your diabetic?
Why all powders? Use whole spices!
That is way too much trouble.. I use Tazo Concentrate Skinny Chai Latte, milk, and French Vanilla creame Mix well and serve over ice. Thsts it..It is delicious! All my friends and family love it.
Those can get expensive, where as this way you can make a lot more and save money! My opinion for what it is worth
Add vanilla to that and 😍
Totally agree - I’ve tweaked this recipe since filming this video. Maybe I’ll do an updated recipe this fall season! It’d be the perfect time 🤩
Did you mean a whole teaspoon of cinnamon?
never heard of allspice lol! what can i use as a replacement?
You should be able to find all spice in any grocery store in the supermarket. It’s literally called “All Spice”.
@@BrianRouse i live in a different continent altogether, so i've never come across such, i'll probably just order it online if need be
I wish that I could find chai tea without licorice. I have high blood pressure and licorice isn't good for people with this condition 😞.
I use Yogi Tea Black Chai and Royal Green Chai Latte. Both or without licorice root
Its Chai Latte, not Chai Tea Latte!
Basically your saying Tea Tea Latte!
Thanks for watching! 🥰 and for the feedback!
This is not authentic chai tea. It’s more American coffee shop chai latte.
I never liked chai tea and didn’t know what real chai tea is supposed to taste like until my Indian neighbor served me their fresh homemade chai tea. It was the best chai tea I’ve ever had, and it gave me the idea of what chai tea is supposed to taste like. The real one tastes way different than the chai latte from starbucks or any other coffee shop, not even similar. So much better. The real one is also more creamier in texture. It has perfect amount of spices and it doesn’t use ground spices. It uses fresh whole spices. No brown sugar. No maple syrup. No honey. It ruins the flavor. Also, no cinnamon.
I want to make a really good chai latte, may you elaborate on what you mean by no ground spices? Like real spices you mash up?
@@LigxhtF1ree For truly good and fresh authentic chai, it's best to use fresh whole spices ground with a mortar and pestle. There are plenty of authentic chai recipes on RUclips. Simply search for 'authentic chai' and look for videos spoken in Hindi, as those are the ones you'll want to follow for the true recipes and instructions.
I tried some recipes but the one that works best for me is: 3/4 cup of water, a small piece of fresh ginger, 1 cardamom pod, 1 clove, 1 teaspoon or a bag of black tea (Indian people like using Red Label Natural Care), 1/2 cup of milk, and 2 teaspoons of sugar (I use allulose because it has 0 calorie). This results in a fresh, subtly sweet chai with just the right amount of spice. You definitely can taste the freshness of spices but not too overpowering, and it’s not too sweet. Also, it’s creamy like the way my neighbor made. It’s for one serving in a cup.
Also, Indians never call it “chai latte”. It’s something made up by starbucks and white people 😂. If they call it chai latte or chai tea latte, then you know it’s fake chai. Indians simply call it “chai”.
@@dailywwin thanks! I learned some stuff, but does it taste like chai latte or even better? It looks more healthy, I use TAZO. I also use just milk and no water.
@@LigxhtF1ree It definitely tastes wayyyy better than any chai latte you got from starbucks or any coffee shop, not even comparable to any instant chai drink you got from grocery. And yeah, it’s also way healthier and less sugary. Get rid of Tazo or Starbucks stuff! That thing is garbage. I’m so mad Starbucks scammed me for many years. Use real fresh whole spices only and buy mortar and pestle to grind spices! For sweetener, no brown sugar and no maple syrup. Only white people use it and it totally ruins the chai.
The Indian recipes use some water, but you have to make sure you do the right technique to get the spices infused perfectly.
Just watch some videos on RUclips of “Authentic Chai”. You’ll figure it out.
Chai is tea. You don't need to say chai tea ! What is tea tea.
Yes, thank you I have all at that hand making now
