I do a lot of hand basting, but I’ve also discovered water soluble basting tape (like wonder tape) and it’s extremely helpful for make knits behave. I really like using it at the beginning of a seam when serging since the feed dogs tend to separate the two layers at the beginning.
That's neat! I too use a water soluble product quite often, but in my case it is a water soluble thread, I especially like it for basting a zipper, so that way I don't have to fish out that basting thread after, it just comes out in the wash. Very handy when doing batch sewing!
Fantastic video! The hood with a lining stumps me every time I make a hoodie. The written instructions are often written so poorly. Your instructions are so clear and make perfect sense! Thank you for continuing to teach me.

Self drafted pattern using knit bodice block from my videos, as well as the hood drafting from my videos. You can also use the same instructions for whatever patter you are using :)
