It sounds great. I might grab these from your SoundCloud and do a proper looped MD+ rom hack, if that would be good with you? I do have one very minor criticism of one remix/extension though. I think it's Poets II, but you crush FM3 on its main hook... still there, but buried. Great stuff over all and better than any other remixes I've heard of this series' music.
@@MaestroDraven good remix. I especially like how your new additions in the last part of the track blend well with the original sound at the beginning. synthwave is pretty good here.
I played this with my friends ... on Friday nights. We were early teenagers, just having fun and wondering what was awaiting us in the sinful night world that would come later. Omg this was the golden era of gaming
This song and game bring back such wonderful memories for me. My grandfather bought me a Sega Genesis after I saw it one day at Toys R Us. I can't remember if we got it in 1992 or possibly 1993. I was around 6 years old. This game was a pack-in game with the Sega console. It was a terrific game with an incredible soundtrack and we would frequently play it together in multiplayer mode on my grandfather's huge flat screen CRT TV. He would always be Blaze, I would always be Skate. I remember I would get so mad at him when Blaze would die because he wasn't mashing the buttons fast enough on the bad guys. It was such good fun back in those days. My grandfather was 60 then. He died of Covid/Alzheimer's in 2020 and I miss him terribly.
thank you algorithm for recommending this to me ! and thank you mr.draven for creating this! extremely fckin sweet! all the sound and bits is 100% identical but with crispier arrangement!
Enhancing a masterpiece is a talent. You got this. 3:14 sounds much better. Thanks. p.s. part 2 means my favorite tracks: this one, Under Logic and Revenge Of Mr.X, can't wait for them)
I really need an explanation, because every upload of these songs I hear, it's as if they were at a higher pitch than normal. Am I the only one that noticed that, or it's just that my system makes it sounds different???
Hi Einhamer, not sure what the issue is, but the songs are pitched to the originals. I always base each song recreation on the original source material.
@@MaestroDraven Oh, sorry if it looks like a problem on your side 😅, I've been looking way deeper into the issue, and seems that the console I played in, as a kid, actually pitched down the music, and that's why I remember it differently than everyone else.... Again, your work is seriously amazing, but the issue was on my side!!!
@@MaestroDraven I ment a problem on MY side! Yeah, I actually played in a console that pitched down the music, the AtGames Sega Megadrive, so your video is accurate!, but my childhood memories are from a "faulty" console 😪😪
I will be honest besides Alien Power and Expander i think the SOR 2 soundtrack is nothing special. I love the groove of the first game and the craziness and industrial feel of the third, this one is ok. Good job in this track keep them coming.
I love Go Straight and Never Come Back Alive. I think SOR 3 is a bit less palatable to the average consumer and SOR is less polished than 2. To me it’s the most balanced of the 3 but at the same time it’s the safest and least experimental so it didn’t impact the genre as much

The instrumentation was so close to the original I couldn't tell the difference for the first couple of minutes.

Thats a wild statement. Never return alive, spin on the bridge, the factory stage theme. Sheeva boss theme, the beach stage theme
All amazing tracks.
I thought u were gonna work on Shinobi music . Streets of rage is getting a little old.
I'm updating SOR1 and SOR2 before I move on, to make sure they're up to par with SOR3. Shinobi will be coming soon.
get out
