True, but it's also very hard to come with a good remix/cover for SoR3 OST. The music is pretty complex, and I struggled a lot before the time I had my extraction tool. Now it's easier in a technical way. SoR Remake takes are the go-to for SoR music, they are really good too !
Holy fuck! You perfectly captured the essence of the original while freeing it from the hardware limitations. I love it! I’m one of the few people who adores Streets of Rage 3’s soundtrack unironically! There are a few duds, sure. But most of it is great stuff! Fuze, Cycle II, Shinobi Reverse and ESPECIALLY Bulldozer are some of my favourite tunes in the entire franchise! If you haven’t yet done it, I’d LOVE to hear what you can do to Bulldozer! There’s a startling lack of good remixes that match the quality of the original, let ALONE surpass it!
That's some nice compliments right here ! Shinobi Reverse is my next SOR3 target remix, maybe even for this week. Bulldozer is a bit harder to remix so I'll give it more time to get an idea. SOR3 has the BEST OST from all the franchise. Big novelties, revolutionary techniques for the time, and even though some tracks might be odd to listen at first, when you listen closely, they are marvelous, especially Beat Ambience ! Also, this Fuze remix is part of my new way of remixing SOR3 soundtrack, by extracting Genesis Synth Voices in my DAW, and mixing it the modern way. So it's like a "modern" version of Fuze, but still faithfull to the original ! Glad you liked it !
- @NewNova88 - Can't wait to see what you do with Shinobi Reverse! Beat Ambience is pretty good, once I got into the meat of the song. Problem is, each area it plays in resets the tune on a screen transition. Tunnelway is just... there. I really don't like how it sounds. It sounds... unfinished to me. I get what you're saying on the sound too. I also didn't care for many at first. But over a dozen or so playthroughs this year, I grew to love many of the tracks! It's honestly amazing what Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima got out of the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive! Also, Streets of Rage 3 really benefits from authentic hardware to sound good. I've heard some emulations that don't sound bad, per se. But they also don't do it justice either.
@@NewNova88 - Sweet! What do you use anyway? I've been wanting to do a remix of Sonic Spinball's boss theme, but the MIDI files out there eithet sound like pure ass or sound inaccurate.
I use FooBar2000 (x86) with GEP plugin. You will need .vgm files that is easy to find (I have the whole SOR3 OST). Then I use Audacity to extract each voices needed. And then I import the .wav files into my DAW, and mix it !
Thanks ! Streets Of Rage 3 is very difficult to remix without original source, like I do usually. Since I get the sound emulator for Genesis, it's way easier, using the raw synth voices. Although I still do some post-processing, I try to keep it nice and faithful to the original.
Great remix of "Hurry the fuck up before your gassed to death" :)
This is incredible! Easily the best remix I ever heard of SOR.
Thank you very much !
Brings back memories of my 90s gaming days.
Great remix of Fuze. Always love when remixers use the original sounds from the games :)
Thanks !
SoR3 covers feel like finding a diamond. Not enough love for the third game. I feel 3 was always misunderstood.

I'm lucky to have perfect emulation for my extraction tool !

You did a good job 👍
Thanks !
THIS SHIT IS TIGHT!!!!! if anyone told me this is what it was supposed to sound like id believe them
Sick 🤒 definitely awake up ☝️ n repeat 🔥😎💯👍🏽
Wow, I didn't expect this much use of the original sounds, and it works! Well done!!!

👌
Omg I love it
Thanks :)
I really liked using my new extraction tool to get real Genesis sounds ! I think it sounds great as a remix !
Oh yeah
Can I use this for a game clip I am going to work on? I was thinking of using the middle part which is my fave!
As long as you credit my work/Is not a straight-up reupload, you can use it any way you want to !
Would you be willing to do one of Shinobi 3 Idaten?
Why not ! Maybe one day !
@@NewNova88 I like your positivity! Keep it going! Really like your version of Fuze from SOR3. Pretty cool
How did you made this remix so good?
I just used some tools to extract Genesis Synthesizer Voices, and then I added some sprinkles, drums and synth, and voilà !
Can you play we're the robots from Mega Man 9 pls😊
@@Deri_devilman We'll see !
