i just got a 1988 suzuki katana. im using your videos to work on my bike as a reference. your bike looks amazing. i have a lot of work on my hands. im not much of a guy who likes to show everything on video though. i wish i could so i can make some content. thanks dude. iu appreciate your hard work and i ope i can mimic what you did
@@davidsantiago2075 thank you very much for the very nice comment. Trust me it’s not easy making the videos as well as doing the work but it’s nice to look back on. Also don’t worry about making videos unless you really want to for yourself as it can be stressful. As long as your happy with your bike that’s all that matters
apologies for the slow reply Joshua, Ive had my computer away being repaired this last few weeks. Yes I was planning to show the valve clearances being done but until that bit of video got corrupted and I lost it.
Getting along nicely! 👍🏼😊 I've been wanting that Delkevic system for ages, but to be honest, I couldn't justify the cost since my Katana would also need a full restoration job first before bolting on a shiny new exhaust system, otherwise it would look out of proportion .. but I am jealous lol! In good way of course. Can't tell from the video, but does the middle link pipe have a bump stop for the bike's centre stand?
Lol. Yes it has the bump stop for the centre stand. Pretty easy to fix thankfully. Just need to pic one of the 50 delkavic stickers to put on now that they sent lol
Yesterday I wanted to check if the carbs were clean so I opened one of them. It was very clean so I closed it again, and reinstalled it all back again. Now it wont turn on 😅 I have added the standard fuel tank
@@Zachie31 ok sometimes I find when you have the standard tank on with empty carbs you will have to turn the knob to prime for 5 to 10 seconds to let some fuel into the carbs and then turn it back to normal and that usually works. Hope this helps

I cant to seem to start my GSX600F after reinstalling the carb. 😅
Got any tips to start it again?
Lol. Have you the standard fuel tank on or have you the bladder on it like I had?
