- Alice in Chains Jerry Cantrell was a part of a special guest performance with Ann Wilson in memory of Chris Cornell, the two performed "Black Hole Sun" together. But before the show Jerry stopped by the red carpet with host Carrie Keagan to talk about being a part of the big night.

Alice In Chains should be inducted, period. Arguably, one of the first Grunge bands to come out. A band that has literally come back from the dead after an irreplaceable loss and stuck two fingers up at people who thought they should have stopped and continue to make great music.

my favorite part of watching my rocknroll idols get older is that they finally feel comfortable in being themselves. they dont have to pretend to not like some artist because it wouldnt be cool to say they liked them. they seem to support any artist who wants to create instead of judging them as not cool.

It’s because Dave grohl did two (that I know of) big name sacrifices. I’m being 100% serious and I know a lot of people don’t like it. I don’t mean sacrifices to the devil or demons that t don’t exist, but I do mean blood sacrifices.
Im disappointed that he doesnt mention robert smith and the cure, please bon jovi??? Not that i dont dig their stuff but to put them as a mention before the cure🤤😲🤤😲 the cure have trapped into every genre much like prince smith has explored all sounds a studio can produce, the follows in line with bowie, rundgren and the beatles. Few musicians dare to go there but the cure with 40 years of dragging their butts all over the globe earned it. Are jerry not to acknowledge that i just dont get it. I love jerry but its a huge slight, considering i hear references to their stuff in the body of alice music. Even the def tones state the cure as an influence, i .ean trent of nin gave their introduction speech. The cure, with emotional preverence in songwriting, production and of course brillant ideas in innovation are always felt in the overall musicial climate of each musical generation and that means every band including alice.💗😊😎
