I think the great relationship he has with his mother helped make him successful in his career. Because not having mommy issues, he is not struggling with subconscious hate or fear or contempt of women, which lots of guys struggle with without realizing it.

Excellent interview; I would have liked to hear him talking about STDs prevention at work and human trafficking, the darker side of the industry.
I remember a documentary on middle class people struggling financially in the USA. A Pawn Shop owner said that people came in all the time to get loans against jewellery or other 'stuff' and they said it was for food, rent and a bit of entertainment. He noticed that he was selling a lot of adult porn videos and people would spend a long time looking through the selection before choosing something. He remarked "What are they looking for? A different plot?"

So interesting, and I know it was touched on but I would have liked if it was a bit more in depth about some of the negative side, like when Danny said that boys think "they're loving that I want to try" whereas for women they might not want to try what they see, but it seems there is a rise in teens of doing these more extreme things that they've seen in adult content.

In porn all people involved get paid, the difference is more than just being filmed. Most prostitutes aren’t working in a safe environment. I do think it should be legal to make it safer.

It would have been better if he was asked about porn addiction? his own consumption (does he use the same product he sells)?, porn induced erectile dysfunction in young men, the mass promotion of deviancy in the industry (step-sibling videos and rough bdsm), what he plans to tell his children?, is he taken seriously in the real world?, only fans replacing real relationships, male loneliness epidemic, The impact of A.I. and VR on the industry and the consumer, falling testosterone levels in men etc etc. We already know the fun side of it but do the pros really outweigh the cons?

Porn stars probably get stereotyped more than every other profession, male and female. I guess it’s something we easy to judge because we all have sex but I’d imagine that’s a lot tougher to do in front of a camera, mainly for the men.
I always find it hypocritical how they’re so judged and yet you’ll struggle to find a single man who hasn’t jacked off to porn, and these days most women under the age of 40 as well. The cultures changed and a huge amount of women watch it as well now.
Don’t get me wrong 90% of the performers live up to the cliche but 10% of them are genuinely intelligent people who have just worked out they can make a lot more money having sex in front of a camera than having to rely on their intellect. Personally I see that as an even sadder reflection of our society than them as individuals

He’s so intelligent that the only way he can make a living is by being a sex worker. There’s nothing wrong with being a sex worker if that’s what you like doing.
I've been in porn a few times and it's not too bad really. I think a lot of people have a mental block over the thought of other people watching them have sex but most people invision random people in Tesco's watching them or their work colleagues and most have never actually had people watch them in real life.
It's actually easier than most people would think once everything starts moving. The people have seen it all before and are helpful. The cameras themselves are more off-putting than the people in the room particularly when they get very close. It's a bit strange to explain in words. It's somewhat clinical but also the emotions and anxiety you expect to have isn't anywhere near as intense as most people imagine. The hardest part is actually the hours before showing up for the first shoot and not the first shoot itself, or indeed any of the following ones.
This was a very friendly interview. No questions on porn and sex addictions, or creating unrealistic perceptions of sex or fantastical societal norms.
He didnt have to speak on sex addiction - I had to stop the interview to pleasure myself within the first 39 seconds of the interview and several times after that. I was supposed to pick my kid up from the hospital....
