I freaking love the how passionate Sony Bend is about making this game. Hell one of the devs even went out to purchase a bike due to how much he loves his game! Sony Bend, I am sold on Days gone. Inspire of what everyone else says about, “updating this and that.” I believe in you guys!

Passion for your work can make or break a game. In God of War you can feel the passion behind it, same with Naughty dog titles and many others.
We have one clear example for PS first party developer. Remember Until Dawn, how incredible that game was. Then the VR game was super awesome. But nobody now remember how they fall hard with there next big project. They just try to cash in with there next big game. When a developer all care for is money n no passion. that game has to be a shit.
i hope there next project will be good just like Until Dawn. SuperMassive games need to come back with there next project or they will be disband by SONY.

That smile at the end pretty much shows how much the devs love and care about this project. You almost can't help but feel the childlike glee for this game that Garvin feels just talking about this project.

I don´t know if I´ll get Days Gone (Open World Game Fatigue) but seeing such emotion in the eyes of John Garvin towards the end was truly heart-warming.

6 years...wow. Developing a game is definitely a commitment. Game is looking good to me and it's still a year out. It can only be improved upon. Cannot wait to play it.

I'm so excited for this game, this Alpha although has some problems it's already in a playable state with less bugs then State of Flopey 2.
They'll need to work on :
- Cutscenes transaction needs to be faster and seemless;
- Melee combat needs polishing;
- Frame rate needs to be more stable when you encounter hordes;
- Let us disable to XP pop ups when you kill something.
Keep up the great work Bend, you're working for the best gaming company on earth, I'm glad you're having the money and talent to deliver your vision.

I’ve been waiting for this game for two years and it’s worth it. The game looks amazing, can’t wait to finally get my hands on it.

If the game is already playable from start to finish, I'm confident the game will be really well polished by release. I think if the game hits anywhere from a 75 or above on metacritic, it will be considered a success since this way more ambitious than anything they've made before.
So hype for this game. I'm interested with Sam Witwer *(Starkiller)* character story, the whole world and the zombies.
Oh right the Force unleashed games. I thought those were pretty fun.

Better companion moments
A darker, more engaging story
A selection of outfits to wear (underneath the biker cut)
Companions changing outfits (e.g: Red Dead 2)
Better human villains
More weapons
More customisation options
@@myboy5053 No they didn't they "reportedly" said no to a sequel in 2019. Yet we're only just hearing about it. Even if it is true or doesn't mean they can't make another one in the future. Especially as Days Gone is coming to PC soon too. There's nothing concrete right now to probe this

Really rooting for these guys they seem very passionate and confident in what they're creating with Days Gone, the simple fact that they allowed game informer to not only go hands on but record and show off so much gameplay, especially with the release date possibly still almost a year out is not something alot of developers would do & speaks alot to the amount of faith they have in their game. Hope the game turns out great and Sony bend gets their Horizon moment!

Preordered this game months ago, and now it's near. Seeing John Garvin's eyes shine, and smile at the end of the video makes me even more hyped. They're so proud and confident of their work. We need more people/studios like that.

idk why or if its just me but this reminds me of like childhood, remember always imagining that it would be cool, kind of like mad max, u got yor car or bike and ur trying to survive some apocalypse, zombies, etc...pretty hype for this game and glad it has so many elements and makes that dream come true

Great game honestly, besides the fact that it’s not perfect ,it was an awesome experience , it’s not the typical shooter that is more one dimensional, this one comes and goes to many different places , it makes you sweat, tear, laugh (and I’m not going to lie) a few times it feels a little repetitive and slow BUT nevertheless it’s a game that became my friend, and now by seeing the developers eyes when they speak about it, suddenly made sense ; thank you guys! those six years were worth it. And I’m pretty sure the only thing that’s missing in your company is me and my v7 racer bike ,I’m a computer animator from VFS and I would love to participate with such a great team. Long live Days Gone.

I've always been intrigued by this game, but watching videos like this always make me want to buy it more. You can see just how passionate they are and how much they love what they do, and that's always encouraging. I will always take a developer who isn't as talented but puts their heart and soul into it versus the most talented developer who only half asses it.
I really really hope this game succeed, the developers deserve that cause the love and passion they're putting on their work.

Just finished completing Days Gone story mode and can't wait to see Days Gone 2. My guess is Days Gone 2 will be situated in Portland since Sarah mentioned that the outbreak started from there.

I love playing this game so much, probably as much as the devs loved making it. It is something quite special. Best action/adventure game of the year so far for me.
Days gone is one of my favorite games, really proud of both Bend & Sony. This video clearly demonstrates the passion and ambition the devs had behind this game and most of it came to life. I really do hope days gone 2 gets confirmed.
I like john garvin, and jeff ross. You can tell those two are extremely passionate about what they do. If someone is really really passionate about making video games, then I wanna play EVERY game they help make,because you know it's most likely gonna be a great one, if they put that much work into it. Can't wait for this one to release. I'm probably going to lose a ton of sleep time playing it.

Since these guys were part of the team that created the original Syphon Filters, I trust them 100%. I remember playing SP3 for the first time and that first mission, where you have to shoot someone on a building across the street, blew my mind. I had a lot of fun playing those three games and I hope to have the same amount of fun playing Days Gone in early 2019.

There is one thing you can't deny about Sony. Their developers are so pationate about what they do. Insomniac, Santa Monica, Naugty dog, Sucker Punch, and the creators of Horizon Zero Dawn (sorry I can't remember their name); I just love that about them.
Turned out pretty well, however you can see some of the difficulties still remained in the end product. Hopefully the next one they can improve on those shortcomings and make an even better game.

I was a little lukewarm on this game, but I'm kind of looking forward to it now... wish it was a summer '18 game.
Well this game would be extra crazy if it would have multiplayer. U would be able to split from the main character or go through the entire story line. Also if u do decide 2 split ways, you will be able to find other random people & bring them to your safe zone. It would super cool if you could have 3 extra people with you as you do your missions or story mode. The more people you find the better your safe zone. They could be good at mechanics & others could be good at growing food exc. Or if you like 2 be the lone walf type u could do your missions like how it's set up in then first place. You should have created characters & be able 2 find bike parts & create ur own bike. If your friend will lend his bike to you as long as u bring him some items he ask for. An In some cases he or she will do runs with you if you got all the parts 2 your bike( you could have the multiplay) or you can have the computer play with you
No matter what people say I'm going to get this game because I've been interested since the first e3 trailer and the passion these devs have being their first big game is incredible. Hope this game is amazing and it does well.
Syphon filter 2 was my fave game on Ps1. Had no idea these guys were behind that. Makes me comfortable this game will be fantastic, looks beautiful too!
Hope they can fix how much the framerate drags when you're riding the motorcycle. I use to think "Well that's just for the bike sections, whatever." But this video made it obvious that your bike is an integral part of the gameplay and they put a lot of emphasis on it, so that really is something they need to get right in terms of preformance.
Can't belive somy split these guys up and didn't greenlight the sequel

a demonstration that not always the most famous developer is the most talented, there are those of Tom Rider saying that it will cost 120 million, while bend studio with a few people become a masterpiece and with a (ps4) still, incredible what Bend Studio has done will undoubtedly be a success, after so much work and years invested.
This is one of my favorite games of all-time. I do hope Sony recants and lets Bend make a sequel.

GI has me pumped for this game! And 6 years is a long time to work on 1 game. And the fact he said it is playable from beginning to end, and it still isn't out till early 2019. That's a lot of time to fine tune and smooth out everything
