    Really nice cruiser! I like the black and chrome look. As far as the size, yeah, I can understand. I love the sound though, it's so smooth! It may not have all the extras a Harley or an Indian has, but it is less than 10K, so for a bike that is significantly less than the Harley or Indian, I can understand where they are cutting the costs down to make the bike more affordable. Personally, of the Honda's you test rode, I like the Honda CBR 500R a bit better, but it is still a really nice bike for the price a lot of people can afford. Good test ride!

    This is my bike! I ended up moving to another part of the country and am sorely missing it. It was an engagement gift from my fiancé, who got me into riding. It was collecting dust the first month, I was too scared to hop on. One day my car broke down and I was forced to ride it 40 miles each way to work. It's funny how fast you learn when you're left with no choice! I'm picking her up in January and couldn't be more excited! I enjoy riding our 99 Goldwing as well. I can't wait to get back on, and try other bikes!

    You would need a seat and control mod to ride regularly and comfortably on that bike at 6 - 4.
    I'm 6 - 2 and ride an 1100 Spirit. I need 2 more inches either in the seat or the controls or 1 inch in both.

    I have an 09 Shadow Spirit 750. Rode it around for almost a year. I'm 6'1" and it is a tight fit. Just picked up an 02 Shadow 1100 Sabre. Too bad they don't make them anymore. The Shadow 750 is such a forgiving, linear bike. Hard not to love that.

    Thks for your comment re: your height and weight. I am 6'2" and 255# and I'm interested in the 750 engines. I'm tired of the 1100-1300 engines. I like the ABS now on bikes, but my main concern is that whatever I get is a shaft-drive! Too bad this video is out of date.

    • @rockybass9764
      @rockybass9764 Год назад +1

      No idea why it being a shaft drive is a concern? Honda has been making this light weight cruiser for 30 years, no big changes, it’s bulletproof. No chain to stretch and lube, no belt to replace every few years. Do scheduled maintenance it’s last forever.
      Down sides: ALL new bikes have the suck quite exhaust. I put Cobra Longshots on along with the Cobra ignition module and Ram air cleaner. Now people hear me when I want to be heard.
      The passenger seat sucks, I changed to a Saddlemen King-Queen Gel. Absolutely the best mod I made.
      Other than that I love it. As a 750 it doesn’t weight 800lbs. Carries me and the wife at 95mph for miles. Highly recommended as long you don’t have Billy Bad Ass complex. Just gas it go whenever you want.

      @@manuelcarvalho4199 yeah right. Manuel that is your opinion. I just got my motorcycle endorsement back in March. I looked at a lot of new bikes. Then I looked at a few used bikes. New; Honda Grom 5,200 Honda PCX 150 a 2022 model 6,000. Honda Rebel 300 7,000 Honda Rebel 500 8500. Those are out the door prices. Used 03 Silverwing 600 4300 07 Suzuki GZ 250 19 Honda PCX 3200 12 Honda Rebel 250 4500. I bought a 2011 Honda Shadow 750 Aero with electrical problems for 2600. Fixed the problems and enjoying the bike. If you're not making payments, you are doing all right. In my opinion only, I would rather just go out and enjoy the bike. If I see you riding (I live in Florida) I will wave!

      Good job. I bought a 2011 with major electrical problems for 2,600. Easy bike to work on. After fixing the electrical issues, no shop was going to touch it, since the last owner tried to rewire it. I called the Honda dealer and apologized for stealing the bike. As a first bike, handles almost as well as a 250, but with power of a 750. Parts don't seem to be a problem. You can easily get your money back. The Honda dealership where I bought mine had 4, the other 3 sold for over 3,000. I think 1 sold close to 4,000.
