Btw, if anyone wishes to skip majority of royal capital. The go find the divine bridge point of grace and then just use the lever shortcut there to directly reach the end boss of this legacy dungeon
After you defeat the fire giant you go to the forge of the giants you rest at the grace site and there is an option to listen to the flames you have to click that to get the cutscene. I ran around the map for super long trying to figure out how to progress never realizing that option.
Elden Ring is gigantic. I'm 60 hours in and learning that I've only covered about 25% of the map. What's crazy is, when I was 60 hours into Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, I was already fairly overpowered and waltzing through most of the bosses. But in this game, after 60 hours, I'm still getting chewed up by regular enemies. Everywhere I go on the map other than the starting area, I'm getting owned. This will easily go down as one of the greatest games ever. It's hard to imagine anything topping it this generation. That's how epic it is.
Yea I'm just not feeling the difficulty. This is the first souls game I've become frustrated with. I know I'm the odd one out, but they could've tone down the difficulty a bit. This game is beautiful and amazing, but dark souls 3 and demons souls are still top dog for me.
@@kevinharvey9500 yo don’t stress too much about the difficulty bro, I’m at lvl 100 now and I pretty much destroy everything. The beauty of the open world is that you don’t have to progress in the story to continue playing, you can wait and get stronger from other enemies in the massive world and then come back and clean them all

Did you ever figure it out? I am at 9:06 where you mentioned currently and watching this video because I do not know where to go. I am currently stuck at the godskin duo and I am wondering if they are required and mandatory to progress the storyline or if there is another way I can go?
I have a question, after i beat the dragon tree sentinal there's something that blocks me from going into the castle, some blue that blocks the path, what should i do?
Find the key for it, after you beat Godrick the grace shows you to go to this castle im the middle of a lake and it also has a Blue “spell” that blocks it, go west of it and you should find a Dragon sleeping in the lake, behind him will be loot and 1 of them is the key for the blue door. You just go up to it and it should say something like “examine the door” and boom your in. It is Reusable too so
You can acscess Leyndell through Nokron . First you need to kill Raadhan so he can open nokron city Second you need to kill Gargolye duo boss in aqueduc Then u lay down in stone grave , it will teleport you Deeproot Depths Kill Fia's champions boss here nd you will open teleport to Leyndell right after Draconic tree Sentinel. COrrect me if I am wrong

I don't understand 😕 I pretty much unlock most of the map do most of the ruins catacombs, I'm level 120 and still stuck at the beginning of the main story this is terrible. i searched for that aswell, i just found out that u can give the shopkeeper in roundtable hold some smithing stone bell bearings (u can search up where to find them its pretty easy) and then she sells u smithing stones from lv 1-8 if u find enough bell bearings, u can do the same for the ghost glovewort`s that level up your spirit summon.
Same. I know people don't like their hands held in video games, but if there is hardly any direction in an open world game, MOST people are going to have to seek help, anyway.

I needed a guy like this I struggle with open world games because there's no sense of direction and I don't know it's to encourage exploration but I grew up on JRPGs I'm used to everything being linear if you leave me to explore it it takes forever so easily to get distracted because you don't want to feel like you're missing out so you try to check every nook and cranny. That's what this game is like for me I'm a sorcerer and they spread our shit out I don't want to make sure I don't miss a really powerful useful spell or a gear for my astrologist.
You're amazing at this game bro haha, I've been stuck on the Godskin duo for so long.
Same godskin is evil
I swear... godskin duo is the most cancerous boss you can encounter. took me the most tries aswell and i got already 35 of 42 achievments xD
40 hours in, level 90 and i have defeated alot of bosses and mini bosses and didn't know how to go further in the story but now finally with your guides iam able to finish the story thanks alot.👍
How are you level 90 with only 40 hours?!
@@Ryan-gc3sd i did some rune farming and i killed few mini bosses by pushing them of the cliff...
@@Ryan-gc3sd now iam at level 150 with 60 hours of gameplay... I did the blood city rune farming which is very popular these days search for rune farming videos if you want to level up fast ..
Thank you man 40 hrs in helping others and beating bosses for them. And I just got lost near the Capital. I thought we weren't allowed in yet so I went back out was killed random bosses and they were hard for me I guess I do have to level up more. If you added levels for each area that would be cool too.
You sir are a hero! This video is way more helpfull than all the 30 minute guides
Btw, if anyone wishes to skip majority of royal capital. The go find the divine bridge point of grace and then just use the lever shortcut there to directly reach the end boss of this legacy dungeon
why would I want to skip that ?
Damn i cant be more appreciated than this thanks man this is the exact thing that i have been looking for
After you defeat the fire giant you go to the forge of the giants you rest at the grace site and there is an option to listen to the flames you have to click that to get the cutscene. I ran around the map for super long trying to figure out how to progress never realizing that option.
i was stuck on this just now thanks 💯
Thank you! This helped a lot! You tarnished are definitely not maidenless lol
oh man , i really need this !! so far i only have access to godrick and renella , i don t have access to other shardbearer at all !!
30 minutes level idk and now i can progress story, thanks!
If you feel like you are against a boss that is way too strong for you then he probably is, just go level up and upgrade your gear and you will be surprised at how much easier it is when you are back. The beauty of the open world is that you don’t have to progress in the story to continue playing, you can wait and get stronger from other enemies in the massive world and then come back and clean them all
It’s all depends when you decide to tackle certain enemies, it can be the easiest or the hardest souls game
@@matthewjames224 Im at level 267. The game feels too easy. I find normal knights more difficult than bosses lmao
I have 55 hours am lvl 172 and never knew where to start the story thank u so much. ❤
Fucking thank you. I love From softwares quest line ambiguity, but in a game this big, such minimal guidance is a big hindrance!
Great video man.
I love how me looking up RUclips videos on where to find cool armour pickups took me down this exact path. I avoided stormviel castle after dying too much but after wandering around I think I could do it
can you make a video with all main story boss fights and side quests boss fights?
Thank you very much really. I was a poor and lonely without light wandering in the hope of finding a beam of light on the way, Well thank you very much for the light xD
After beating the story and the final boss, are you still able to free roam and explore?
I discovered the entire map without progressing the storyline- I'm still a low level- I wondered what I was supposed to do. Thanks for this helpful guide!
And do I have to fight the hardcore boss fight to get into the capital? I can’t just unlock the portal behind him with the two great runes?
Really appreciate the simple video explaining exactly what I need to know. Cheers!
Hey, I hope someone can help me. While in the cutscene of the burning of the oak tree my game was crushed. As a result of that, I wasn't teleported to the sky temple location. I tried a lot of times but I couldn't find a way to get there. Does anyone have any suggestions? (I spent like 60 hours on this character and I don't want to start a new one).
Did you ever figure it out? I am at 9:06 where you mentioned currently and watching this video because I do not know where to go. I am currently stuck at the godskin duo and I am wondering if they are required and mandatory to progress the storyline or if there is another way I can go?
I've been stuck at the South Raya Lucaria gate for two days till I watched this and learned about the key. Thank you 🙏
I have a question, after i beat the dragon tree sentinal there's something that blocks me from going into the castle, some blue that blocks the path, what should i do?
Find the key for it, after you beat Godrick the grace shows you to go to this castle im the middle of a lake and it also has a Blue “spell” that blocks it, go west of it and you should find a Dragon sleeping in the lake, behind him will be loot and 1 of them is the key for the blue door. You just go up to it and it should say something like “examine the door” and boom your in. It is Reusable too so
@@JohnTronMegaTron Okay will do, thanks
@@JohnTronMegaTron no that door needs great runes
I've been fighting so many bosses, and who would've thought I haven't even started the story, and I'm over here thinking I am making great progress.
8:42 I went there and nothing happened why?
u must rest at the campfire and u ll have a cutscene
@@geoffreyferrucci9747 I did nothing happened
Speak to melina, she will ask you if you are ready
You can acscess Leyndell through Nokron .
First you need to kill Raadhan so he can open nokron city
Second you need to kill Gargolye duo boss in aqueduc
Then u lay down in stone grave , it will teleport you Deeproot Depths
Kill Fia's champions boss here nd you will open teleport to Leyndell right after Draconic tree Sentinel.
COrrect me if I am wrong
I clearly did something wrong I kill godrick and I followed this guide all the way to the capital gate and it said I need more runes to open the gold seal door. I can't progress. I don't understand 😕 I pretty much unlock most of the map do most of the ruins catacombs, I'm level 120 and still stuck at the beginning of the main story this is terrible. I need help as I cant enter the city 😩
Are there any mining caves in Mountain Top of the Giants that have Smithing Stones 7&8?
i searched for that aswell, i just found out that u can give the shopkeeper in roundtable hold some smithing stone bell bearings (u can search up where to find them its pretty easy) and then she sells u smithing stones from lv 1-8 if u find enough bell bearings, u can do the same for the ghost glovewort`s that level up your spirit summon.
Been playing for 11 months straight, level 713, on new game plus 34 I can finally start the story thx bro 😢 🙏
Dieses deutsche English. Man kann als Deutscher den aktzent einfach nicht verstecken.
My guy, on my 2nd story n watched u many times n am watching again👊👊👊👊👊👊 so helpful 🙏
Absolutely amazing game, but this is why I won’t call it a masterpiece.
Same. I know people don't like their hands held in video games, but if there is hardly any direction in an open world game, MOST people are going to have to seek help, anyway.
@@Xiatter They should implement an npc noting down our story progression and we can ask him always what to do and where to go ^^ would be cool. No need for ugly UI marks.
I understand your view on this, but that is the reason why it is a masterpiece for me. I love exploring it without someone holding my hand. I love the adventures i have just by going in the wrong direction. That just feel so immersive IMO.
Finally 90 hours in and I know where to go, thank you!
This video happened because of poor game design
72 freaking hours in, tree is on fire, I thought I finished the game 🤦🏿♂️ had no idea what to do. Thank you so much for this!
First
This has been the best guide so far thank you
Got to liurnia lake and didnt want to deal with the poor visibility. Thank you!
du hast echt vielen leuten damit geholfen. vielen dank
It might not be as bad as other people but I was level 55 and 30 hours into the game and I had only beaten godrick. Thank you a lot
Lvl 170, 356 hours on my character. Messing around through my second plauthrough Ng+. Most the hours I've spent invading people, trying to test classes, and just farming weapons and gear with high arcane levels. It's such a good game. Haha
That was really helpful my dude
I’m new to these types of game’s and I didn’t know how to progress in the story so this was helpful
Thnx I'm on ng+ and just wanted to complete the story again for the other 2 endings and to increase my level more using the boosted runes
thank you for this
This is one of the rare videos where I want to double-like.
Fantastic video guide! Really well explained.👍
thank you so much man have a great night and god bless :)
This is the best progress explanation iv seen

Wow, 216 hours of exploring, doing quests and killing bosses I didn’t even know how far behind I really am.
Haha same here I'm 120 hours still mucking. Around with optional stuff hahah
Dude i first met Ranni the witch after i defeated the fire giant so its safe to say i really needed this video..
Love the video. Thanks for creating it.
What about all MISSABLE items, NPC encounters, spells, endings.. ? I wonder how long until enough knowledge is found for 100% completionists? I got my pre-ordered physical copy, day one. I've been waiting for completionist guides before planning all my playthroughs. This video is a promising start. Great job, man. Please keep the information coming.
Your pretty knowledgeable on this.
I have to level up and progress and I don’t even know what to do…the runes come slower than chilled molasses and then I lose them.
Thank you. I was convinced this game didn’t end and it only got more difficult lol
you can use trainer tho , am 24hrs in and level 305 with all armaments and maxed weapons and ashes and talimans and spells XD
Man you are a forreal MVP. I couldn't figure out where to go after Godrick been killing every mini boss dungeon etc got me to level 70 tho
Im 40 hours in, not a hardcore souls gamer, but I pretty much completed ds3 and bloodborne 100% (or close) without summons. When I really get into it I would say Im pretty good at the games. But now Im really busy with work so I play once or twice a week on workdays for about 4 hours in total, and on my free days Ill just go nuts for 5 hours in one sitting. Im now at lv 56 and trying to figure out where to go next. I think I should complete caelid now, im at the festival but I really want to do the sidequests before radahn because im scared to get locked out of stuff. I see streamers getting past the big lift and getting a lot of good stuff, but I wasnt sure what area was appropiate to do first, thanks for the clearup!
Been playing for 6 hours and i do nothing just walking and slaying dummies zombie no objective. Finally i know what ive to do. Thanks a lot sir!
TYSM my man, you earned your sub!!
Exactly the kind of video I was looking for... Thank you!
Exactly what I needed, thank you very much!
This is going to help me a lot, thank u so much
This is great content! Will watch this after beating the game 😉
