My 14 year-old son loved yer "Cupcakes 'Bout..." video.! A suggestion: "Cupcakes 'Bout My Stash" and you kin talk about choice pieces from yer "collection". Just a thought. Love all yer videos!
Hi Terry. It's me Tyler Tarkington (the guy you called in Canada about your CD). I just want to thank you for this video. I found it to be very helpful when I was installing a set of coated Remo Emperor's on my new Mapex Saturn kit. Keep up with the awesome vids :) Looking forward to your new HELPY HELPERTON channel. ROCK AND ROLL!!
lol I've been playing my grandfather's old Rogers kit and now I realize why people prefer the Rogers rack mounts, you just pop that sucker in and tighten right up ;)
+bonzoleum i just got new coated vintage emperors 3 weeks ago for my whole kit and the weatherking star is missing too. i guess they stopped using them
On the Vinatge Ambassadors and Emperors it says"Weatherking" on Top of the logo. On the "normal" versions there´s no star or writing regarding weatherking ( anymore).
The Premier kit sounds pretty good. I really wish you would just play your Ludwigs though. (I'm biased towards 6 ply Luddies). While I'm at it, please use another snare drum other than the Luddie piccolo.
How often should you change bottom heads? I just did both heads I did clear ambassador on the bottom and clear controlled sound on top. So I was just wondering how often should I change bottom heads
Hey Terry, if you crank the bottom heads, does that make the drums bounce/rebound more? I don't know if my heads being new have anything to do with that so I was just curious.
I have a totally irrelevant question, but I've always wondered why some remo heads have the "weatherking" sign, and some don't. Is there a difference between those? Hopefully, you can answer my question. +bonzoleum
It is an awesome little kit I have one. I mostly play my Mapex Saturn but I go to the smaller kit sometimes. I replaced the heads with better heads and it really is a neat kit

Hi 👋 Terry! How did you get Remo heads with no star 🌟 logo under the weatherking writing? +bonzoleum
+Adrian Manuel I don't know-that dawned on me when I was playing them later. I just got the heads 2 months ago.

Every third top head change

Do you generally prefer ambassadors or emperors? (aside from Bonham).

10:21 best part
But a REMO tuning key... it's magnetic and won't rattle!
Terry this is a great tuning video for a snare, tried this today and it really helps vary your sound!
