- With the G87 M2 coming with a detuned S58 from the factory we knew there was a lot of potential left on the table power wise for us to explore with our ECU tuning.
We achieved some really impressive results whilst focusing on drivability, but what we're more excited to announce after a year of development is our Warranty Tuning!
We are proud to now offer our ECU tuning with a warranty backed by ourselves for all BMW M cars featuring the S58, with more models being added in the near future.

It hilarious how much extra power some BMW's can make with just a simple tune.
Warranties outside of factory are useless, unless it's small things like filters etc, but to warranty an engine or turbo failure due to tuning errors, ie lean mixtures i'll sit that one out thanks.

In my opinion BMW have done it again with the design which was initially a shock to my eyes because I wasn’t expecting the second evolution of the M2 to have changed so dramatically so quickly but now every time I see one they look brilliant and like no other manufacturer’s offerings which in modern times when too many designs look just the same as their contemporaries
True, I found this design so bad at first. Now I just love it! Its such a unique design and I love that BMW takes such bold steps with design unlike other brands.
It needed modifications to start making sense but we’re definitely changing peoples opinions! Can’t wait to do some more styling/aero soon 😉
Hey Imran, did you maybe measure 100-200 km/h?
Why is the dyno curve so wavy vs stock and the CSL map? Torque limiters?
I thought these numbers were skewed but looks like you guys have access yi higher octane than we do in the states. If we want something that high at the pump, we have to run e85
These are to crank not wheel, our 99 RON is roughly similar to 93 Octane

Looks like a really interesting proposition. With the Femto unlock is there any risk of BMW patching things and somehow retuning the ECU to stock remotely or causing issues come service time? Also is there anything akin to a stage 1+. I'm running MST intakes and a Remus OPF back exhaust. Would be concerned that some further exhaust mods for stage 2 would make the car too loud for some tracks.
There is potential for remote updates to remove the tune/relock the ECU - We advise all customers to disable remote software updates and also not allow a BMW dealer to update the car.
If you email sales@evolveautomotive.com we can discuss the potential of covering cars that are not completely standard. This will be on a case by case basis.
Can you do stage 2 with sport cats and warranty to get a bit more power/ torque?
Currently we are only offering the warranty on Stage 1.
Hi Imran, are you able to unlock the ECU without using Fenton? Or that needs to happen first?
All 2020+ BMW ECUs need to be sent to FEMTO for unlock before they can be tuned.
Warranty for G42 M240i would be nice going forward
B58 is something we will be looking into also
I understand the Z4 m40i engine ECU is still locked is this correct

Truthfully when we can keep one on the shelf long enough to fit it before a customer buys it!
Are you considering a similar package for the G42 M240i?
We’ll be looking at expanding in due course
How do we feel about this tune on the 6MT G87? Stock clutch strong enough?
It would be very similar power to what the 3.0 CSL has which has a manual gearbox. Obviously clutch is a wear item and increased power could wear it quicker but the standard clutch seems to be able to handle Stage 2 power when in good condition.

Currently only in the U.K. but we are going to look at expanding it in the coming months.

I thought DMS also offer warranty with their tunes?
i believe its a 3 year warranty, not sure what it covers, if the map gets written over on an update at a dealer then they come and put the map back on other wise not sure
Hi Imran, I live in Usa. Is there any chance that I get get this remap + csl software for my 2024 M2? My dme also needs to be unlocked.
We aren't currently offering the warranty aspect outside of the UK, but we can remotely tune and do CSL software and assist with DME unlock.

They are designed to be like this. Either you like them or you don't.

How will you make sure users aren’t tuning their cars past your set limits and reverting to your tune once something has gone bang?
We obviously aren’t going to disclose them, but we have various ways to verify the car has not been tampered with.
Logged peak boost would be a give away. Much how BMW know if a cars been tuned and reverted back to stock.
Are you guys going to look to offer warranty on the BMW M5 Comp? If so, when do you think it will be? That would be amazing 😁

You’d have to cover everything as bmw won’t touch the car unless you get a new ecu.
A new ECU wouldn’t hide the fact it’s tuned, and that’s still fraud.

hi ! im from canada and dinan aka carbahn also says tha their parts will not kill your warranty .......false . if you touch anything on your car they will black flag you and kill your warranty and there is no going back . i barely got away with the carbon fiber cover and better air filter and they documented via video everything , even the custom wheels . bmw is always monitoring everything on your car so even a discreet program they know about . my friend was less lucky than me , he got flaged for his m2 . eventually he made a deal and took a serious five digit loss when he traded his car in and he had no other choice because they would not certify his car for resale . i do not care and i am doing what i want , i have no desire to sell or trade my x4comp . to me it is an exotic suv at half the price .
We aren’t saying this won’t void parts of your warranty, it 100% will - We’re offering our own warranty to supplement any warranty that is voided.
Can't see this panning out, BMW will blame the tune and the tuning company will blame BMW whilst the customer will be the only one to suffer!
when the car brakes all these tunners say , its your own fault, and will never honor the warranty when repair bill is more then a few thousand because engine blew up
With our warranty package we will cover the costs in the incredibly unlikely event that the worst happens.
