Do you think the CRZ shifter box would be a direct bolt in fit even with the oem Fit shift cables? I’m looking at alternate shifter options for my factory manual Fit
I might have missed it, but what water pump housing, water pump, alternator, etc. do your run? I do know I need an EP3 or aftermarket idler where the PS would go
The water pump is stock but the plastic thermostat housing and thermostat are from the first gen crv 02-06 crv the alternator I believe is from an accord. You just need it to match whatever alternator plug you have

Nice, just a pair of question Crz Shift box with 2008 civic si shift harness? Axle from hasport? Thx Im swapping my 03 jazz, but in europe more piece are differenti
So I used a Honda 2011-2012 CR-Z 6spd manual shift box and then I used the 2012-2015 civic SI shift cables The axles are from a Base model 2003-2006 RSX or the 02-06 civic SI axles.
I watched another video and noticed he notched the passenger side frame rail, the k-frame and even the electric power steering. did you have any issues that required that?
We didn’t have any issues with anything touching other than the trans area that we notched. I know what video your talking about. I do k ow that a few people have had issues when they used the innovative mounts with the hasport mounts that the pass side did need to be shaved down as the a/c pulley was just touching. My brother and I have used Polly filled oem mounts and had no rubbing issues
Can you give some of your thoughts on suspension tuning? I'm buying a 2010 that needs a full refresh and I'd like to put something on that will make the handle better to so it's ready for a future k swap.
Hey man I’m swapping my fit here soon and your videos are a blessing I’m able to plan ahead but I was wondering if there’s a chance you could give me a list of everything you needed?
Maled1cted not that I know of. The frame on the fit’s are different from manual cars and auto cars. Also there are no mount kits for automatic K series available that I know of.
The stock Fit cables are to short to use on a K series transmission The shifter mechanism is on the back of a The Fit transmission and it’s on the front of the K series We’ve cut and welded K series cables before. It works but is a pain to do and not worth it when off the shelf stuff works
@@KevronsEye Im sorry about not specifying, i wasn't talking about the cables i was talking about the actual shifter rod on the shifter box since the CRZ one has an S bend that leaves it in a funky location. You can try cutting the shifter rod before the S bend and just weld on the fit shifter rod so the shifter is straight up and down. Ive done this before with success on a foxbody with a t56.
R O I get 26 in the city. And that’s me just ripping around not trying for good mileage. So I don’t see a problem getting 30mpg. You can shift all day long at 2-3k and still have loads of torque. I took off in 3rd the other day and barely noticed haha.
Hello good afternoon brother. I also live in Michigan. I'm about to start my project. Swap k24z7 from a 2012 civic si on my 2008 fit gd3. Could you help me with a list of parts that I need to do the swap or if you have some spare parts that you want to sell, please let me know. I've written you on Instagram but you haven't seen my messages.
I have not used that engine/transmission before. That year is more ideal for the 2009-20013 GE Honda Fit. The wiring and sensors are different, The engine and transmission mounting is different. It'd be easier to use a engine and transmission from 2008 and back.

Would the civic si cables work t
With the fit box... looking at the hybrid racing option and they make both for the fit and the crz.
No they don’t work on the fit box. You’d want to use the CRZ version witch still would need to be modified to fit the si cables
