You sir, you're videos are highly educational and note worthy! Not saying Honda-Tech isn't what it used to be as I'm sure it's still a major go-to these days, but 10-15yrs ago, your efforts would have made a complete "sticky" to the AWD or V6 forum!
How much would you charge to do this for me and my 98 to 02 accord coupe can we swap info or dm each other somewhere else to make this happen? You have a real talent and no, how I wish I had look forward to doing business with you in the future.
Great video I love it. But if it takes so much work to do a k trans with AWD, why not just stay with a K and build it? Just curious so I learn. But great educational video!!
Very innovative build good job. You stated a roughly 50lbs difference, how's the drive feel? Can you feel the extra weight up front in contrast to the B20 specially when hitting corners at different speeds?
I have a 99 crv and an 05 pilot j35 with its original transmission. Do you think It would work with the pilot transmission ? I just have those laying around and thinking on doing that project
Dude I wanna know where you got that pan and adapter plate, like details on a build. Ran into a k32 for a great deal and looking to do the same on a CRV. The details are a little skim tho. What stock tranny? And what parts did you get for conversion. I mean I can see them, but any numbers or a thread of what all you used?
@@Prelude3g thank you very much for so much info/pics. I was about to do a J35/J32 swap in an EK. After seeing your completed CRV, i am seriously reconsidering. Whats your oppinion on J swapping a 02-06 CRV?
Dave, looking forward to this series. Sadly, I just sold my h22 lude but it went to a friend and told him if he ever plans to sell again to let me know first. It racked my brain but finally realized that the music was from the Sonic collection from the mid 2000s. It was driving me nuts trying to figure it out!

It's like I'm walking through a "Going Out of Business" store. Clearance, clearance, more clearance.
Loving the content!
I was struggling to find info on this then of course I go to RUclips and here is a great step by step for the exact build I was looking at 😂
What a great video! Please keep us posted with the build 🙂
the music had some serious dragon quest vibes with that oboe. very informative video i always thought the j series was a lot heavier.
Wow excellent work! I admire your craftsmanship and will continue to watch your videos.
Love this build
the slot in the piece you ordered is usually longer compared to the 5 speed
Damn, I've never watched a car video over massage parlor music. I didn't know if I should put on gloves or take off my pants!
Cool video though :-)
take your pants and jack it off
just another reason why i should get a crv
Great video
this is sick.
A lot of nasa engineers watching this and taking note
Good video…although the music could’ve been better (or off) lol
Didn't think I'd hear Sonic 😎 i forgot the name but good vid man
Is there an alternative route you could take for starter? My desire to do this swap diminished when I seen a custom oil pan
Can you send me where you got all the parts from for this project .
Awesome project .

Way more low end torque with the v6, nice in an suv.
Any reason why we can't modify k transmission to put starter in original position
So this is j32 to k awd trans? What starter did you use and did it work out good.

I couldn't really feel much difference, it still handled like before.
Hi sir, what subframe and power steering column have you used for that motor to fit it inside ?
Stock pieces, modified subframe.
@@Prelude3g thx a lot sur for your response

You must want to mod every car you own lol. I love it. Why didn't you go h2b?

I've opened a public Trello board with some notes: trello.com/b/yzGrAby5/98-cr-v-j2k-swap

Let me get those axle measurements
Where can I get the shaft bearing housing and kit for j2k.
badazz
Where did you get the adapter plates
It's from Minitec. I suggest using the InlinePro adapter instead, much better quality.
Nice
Where did you get the adapter plate for the 4wd trans to j32?
This one is from Minitec. The InlinePro adapter would probably be a better idea due to the problems with the Minitec parts.
How many hours in total did it take you to fully finish this motor?
I didn't keep track, it was a lot.
How much $ will this swap cost I wanna do this as well but a j35
What kit is this ?

Seems like he uses music from games lol. O recognized his recent video playing music from a new game that I cant remember the name of.
