Thank You so very very much! ... Thanks to you I am HOOKED on Tunisian crochet ... I'm 75 years old and have never been able to understand how to do Tunisian crochet .... You make it so easy ...Thank You so very very much ... i'm saving up to get the Denise Tunisian Crochet Hooks .....
Your tutorials are really very good. You go slow when needed and always explain. This looks like a fun project.
Oh, yes, that’s right! You are the TUNISIAN QUEEN! Thank you once more!❤!!!
A pencil holding Tunisiast! 🤩 This is helpful in several ways and one is how you hold the hook because I, too, am a pencil holder. I am practicing knife hold so I can give my poor thumbs a rest, but pencil is much more natural. Moving on to the thumbs - I was mesmerized by the glitter the whole way through, lol. What I gleaned from this is odd rows, go into the first space, even rows, skip the first space and use the 2nd. So totally going to do this stitch on my next set of dish cloths! Thank you for taking the time to teach us.
Toni girl, I just watched a podcast with your mom. Giiiirl I can tell where you get it from. You are definitely your mama's daughter and I'm positive you make your family proud. I know this comment has nothing to do with what you made, but I had to take a moment and comment. On another note I love your tutorials, patterns and your awesome energy. GURL, you got it going on!
The way my eyes widened when I saw the thumbnail
I love watching you. I still cannot find the bump on the back. Humm! I must be using the wrong yarn! I will keep watching. Thanks
@@judyhoffman1359 practice chaining, separate from your project. Once you are comfortable, the front of the chain will look like stacked V's. Slowly, roll the chain half-way over, then you will see the bumps. By using the bumps to build the project with the next set/row of stitches, it will give you a nice finished edge for your border stitches. .
Amazing. You are the only tunisian teacher I watch!
About 40 years ago I bought a book on learning how to do Tunisian crochet. It taught simple stitch, a bobble stitch a couple of tips and tricks and that was it, so for the last 40 years I thought that was all there was to Tunisian crochet....that is until I found you. You have widen my experience with Tunisian crochet and given me a passion for it that I never had before. Now I'm really into it. Thanks to you Toni.
Soooo pretty! Your blanket in the thumbnail gives me definite sherbet vibes! I must thank you for being so clear and showing us exactly where we need to place the stitch. I had never tried Tunisian crochet before, but after seeing this blanket, I ordered up some Tunisian hooks and yarn bobbins. I really enjoy your teaching style!
You are an amazing teacher. Thank you.
Great instructions again. You have a very pleasant voice and presentation. Easy to follow and not distracted by any "ok's", ah, and "you know". Thank you Ms. Toni
I have a huge bin of scraps that I am looking to use up, and I'm currently obsessed with Tunisian. This stitch might be a great use for them. I love how it blends the colors
I started on a baby receiving blanket with basic Tunisian stitch where I wanted to have a white stitch running through. It looks so ragged that I don’t even want to finish it. I love this concept and will start a new.
I agree with Dolores! I thought Tunisian crochet was the "afghan stitch" I did many years ago!! You are awesome.
I love this stitch! I'm trying to make some cowls for winter but I just can't get my edges right. I keep forgetting where I skip and where I don't. Doesn't help that I naturally crochet on the tight side. Your tutorials are the best and are basically the only ones that don't overcomplicate! Going to pull out my rows and try try again 😂
Thank you for explaining with each pass. The repetition keeps me from getting lost and I understand better. Definitely going to try this with my next yarn/hook purchase and will have your video on as I attempt.
Great for a sweater. I have a pattern already 😊!!!
Just the tip I was looking for Toni with the use of the markers🎉... Thank You!
Thank you so much for this tutorial...I did follow another one but somehow the edges didn't turn out straight (not trying to make the other content creatorl look bad)..now they're straight and I can finally make my daughter's pillowcase...by the way I'm using a yarn that looks like mohair but is thicker and very soft and this stitch makes it look so beautiful 😍😍
Thank you so much for this!! I was looking for a pretty scarf to make my grandma, and was getting so so so frustrated with what I was finding on ravelry! This is perfect! I'm makig it in bright yellow, white, and creme (egg colors because she has chicken!)
The first stitch that I learned from your videos was the lattice stitch and I absolutely LOVE how you show the stitches. You explain each step so well and it makes it so easy to learn. Thank you!
This is beautiful, But I will have to practice so I can remember which ones or stitch to skip or the ones to work. But I love Tunisian crochet so I think I can do it. Thanks for the tutorial it's a beautiful pattern. My first time on your page.
Oh boy I’m gonna need to save this so I can go very slow at those ends . Love this ,Thank for doing this ❤️
Your tutorials are the best! Thank you so much!
I’m just learning to tunisian crochet..I love love your videos, they are so clear and informative...never until I saw your videos was I even tempted to learn crochet...I knit and am addicted to it....thank you
Hazel nut ,I am getting love Tunisian crocheting you are a good teacher.
Thanks for making it easy to learn.
Thank you Toni. I love this tutorial❤
I love your tutorial. Very easy to follow. I really liked your tip on marking every other end of row to determine whether or not to skip the stitch!
Great video on Tunisian crochet
You are my favorite crochet teacher! 💖
This was super useful. I messed up some past projects because I didn't know of this skip-stitch-skip-tow technique and they ended up skewed.
You deserve thumb up just to be so friendly and clear, but I really love this tutorial 😍 and I'll try making a blanket for my baby
So glad you liked the tutorial! This is a super fun stitch for a baby blanket. Or you could incorporate it with other TC stitches. Enjoy!
So glad I found you. I love Tunisian crochet and this is a beautiful pattern. Scarf comes to mind. 💐
Your instructions are the best. So easy to follow. I really love Tunisian. I am going to be trying this stitch.

Your tutorials are fantastic. And I love how your different coloured nails in this one make it even easier to see what you’re doing. Great choice 💅🏾

Which of us is colorblind, Toni 😂 You see purple and I see pink !

Beautiful! This my nexy blanket
This is one of the best videos I have seen. Thank you for explaining this so well without unnecessary comments or stories.😊
Fabulous!
your mic is so good that i head your needle drop after you threw it at 4:25 .i found it funny. haha
So pretty.
You are so talented I'm really happy I discovered your channel ❤️
I love tunesian crochet 😁
Thank you so much
I would like to learn this new stitch thanks
Fantastic tutorial. I love how you would turn the end so that we could see what the last stitch should look like. Like @Della Dearest says below, the right hand side looks uneven. Is it just due to carrying the yarn or can we tighten it somehow?
I think I'm going to do this with a bunch of leftover colors from other projects to make little sleeping bags for my kids dolls.
Still taking down notes, and watching out for those bumps! Thanks for your patience, see u later!
Wonderful!!! Thanks a lot!😊💐
Omg. I am so doing this, i have 2 blankets due by October at the early and end of November at the latest. I am unyarning the bit I've worked on the bigger one to do this. Cause its taking me forever
I like your lack of dead space. A lot of video authors forget to keep talking and either completely fast forward or cut to the end of the row. Even though you are repeating yourself with small fast forwards, it keeps me focused on the task at hand.
I need a quick belt for a cardi I was given. I have 3 colors I want to use 😊 the cardi is knit.
Question: how can one tell if the previous row was the row where one skipped the first space? It doesn't look very obvious when i crochet and im scared to walk away from project for fear of forgetting whether i skipped the first space that row or not.😫🤣
Please send help.🤪
ALSO: Love this channel! Thank you for such clear tutorials!!💖☺😍
I might try a temperature blanket in this...I wonder if it would get too big
Wow!
Very clear tutorial for someone who prefers knitting but is trying to dabble in crochet. Does this stitch allow for some stretch, or would a stretchier stitch be better to use at the brim of a hat?
I always have problems with this stitch I will try the stitch markers on the left side and right. I love the trio colors you helped me understand it better. How many chan's for a twelve inch square I'm in c cal starting Jan and trying to practice
First time on your channel and REALLY enjoyed your teaching and tips! Roughly how many would I chain for a baby blanket? Have another grandson due in July!
Cute nails too.
I would love to make this but I need to how many stitches for a throw
So pretty ❤️
I am SOOOOOO using this for my next project!! I’ve done some Tunisian stitches before, but I love working with multiple skeins, so this fits my style PERFECTLY!!! Thank you so much for your knowledge of this!!!
Making a lapghan with this what would you use for a border?
I'm new at this but am a diehard "read your knitting" person, so I'm hoping there comes a time when I can read my TC Full St so I don't have to remember which row I'm on.
BINGO! at 10:35!!
How many skeins of each to make a nice size Afghan?
So what do you do to cover the carried threads on the one side? Is there a way to do boarders on Tunisian crochet?
I seem to be struggling with this one any tips I've used your handbook and this video but when I do it it curls up and the end where the chain 1 is doesn't line up it kinda decreases yet I always have the right number of stitches on my hook
How many cast on stitches would you do for a wash cloth?
I am new to crochet and wondered why you crochet in the back loops
When you work into the back loops/bumps, you are leaving both legs of the "V" of each chain free, so you get a nice finished edge of V stitches all along the bottom.
Where can I find those needles
Liking this stitch pattern but the right side looks uneven. How do we avoid that? Thanks 😊
Was thinking that too.
What if i used a 4and a half hook??
