    My go to for the heavy scale rust is paprika. SUPER 77 then a blast of paprika. I really would try and stay clear of the brake lathe dust because of the asbestos from brake shoes. I think Amazon carries iron fillings cause I've bought both bronze and copper fillings from them.

      @@CobwebsandCandlesticks i did get some from a machine shop. Work good and was cleaner.
