Thanks for the straight forward video. Makes me not feel so helpless. I'm taking a break during a rainstorm. Still have to figure out how to remove glass from reg--the motor won't go "up"(the reason for me to remove) and it's down too far. I'll get it though.

probably would have wired the connector a bit safer. The corners of that junction wear through that tape it will ground out and you are going to have to pull everything apart to fix again...
Did you go mad?? how are you stripping the cables with the blade against your finger!?? take care that is extremely dangerous. Anyway, i am looking how to change the steel cable in peugeot 207, in argentina we dont have money to replace the whole thing.

stripping wire plastic off with a small straight blade is asking for trouble. A set of wire strippers is about $2-4.
And the blade is so rusty. One could get tetanus if they got cut.
