Anecdotally, I’ve experienced a huge drop off in legendary items since weekly reset. Used to get 4-6 per day and now seeing only 1-2 for the same activities and playtime. Currently 60(21).
I've been hearing the same anecdotes from many players this week. I think there's at least something different. I'd wager it's just the DR removal, but it could be something else. These things are very difficult to test

I feel like they did something to drops. Before any of this went down I was getting regular drops and upgrades… now it’s been 2 days and no drops at all except one legendary sword that is way worse than my current.
I have gone 4 days without getting a lego from bestiary or shadows contracts. Getting a bit upset. I'll fall for the noob traps all day of it means I can get those crucial legos I STILL need. Also went to ancient nightmare all three times today and no chest spawn after.
youre right about bestiary. Make sure to be in a warband party while turning in if you can. I often get 2 legendary and 1 warband chest from a single turn in this way
Somethimg in the game is changed this week.After 3-4 hours grind every day before i got 3-4 legenderya daily now i am gating 1 or 2 and i am still missing some of my core legenderys
Forgot to mention the 3 daily battleground rewards... If it's within your first 6 legs of the day.. they have a pretty high chance to drop legs.. just got one today as battleground is one of my first things I do on the day..
Monster essence farming is amazing. I have got a few double drops and today I actually got my first triple drop legendary. Gave me 2 upgrades 1 of which was a 3 stat!
So weird. I believe you guys but I complete 2 or 3 monster essence a day and since the drop change, I have gotten 0 legendary. Don’t get it. Maybe bad luck
@@chadm597 yeah they switched dropped chance I don't get near what I used to now. Think they dropped the % chance now or chance after so many drops. Hey though you can always go drop 100k on legendary gems!!! No issues there. Fuck that noise.
I haven't been getting any item for the past 2 days now , even set items in dungeons , ran pit in h2 about 60 times without a single drop, legs are even worse I gain about 1-2 daily if I'm lucky , but when its Monday they dropped insanely , I think they added a weekly cap to it and removed the dr on it . This is just demoralizing imo
Same here. I’m 60(32). Seems like drop rates have ranked. 2 days straight 1 legendary. I ran pit 15 times and Fair 35 times not a single green set item.
I worry that the nerf has already come. Spawn rates are defo lower than what they were first week; and I have been grinding overworked for 7 hours todays and not a single elite (including the red) has dropped a leg. Maybe bad luck but the grind defo feels worse
waiting for July 8 release in asia. I don't care how most think of negative things about this game, but hey, I will play it at my own phase and for fun as all games should be.

They “fixed” it by nerfing the ever-living hell out Of drop chance for legendaries for daily activities…. Honestly blizzard made a bad thing FAR worse. If they don’t change this F2P players have now lost the entire source of combat rating progression as farming exceptional legendaries was the only consistent improvement. Now instead of 6-8 a day grinding I’m getting 0-3 for the same time investment, most of them duplicates and inferior… how disappointing

Here are my weekly stats since Monday. 24 bestiary turn ins - 1 legendary 112 bounties ( 14 turn ins across 3 characters) - 0 legendaries 36 pvp turn ins - 2 legendaries 12 shadow contracts - 0 legendaries 75+ elder rift guardians - 1 legendary 24 floors of challenge rifts - 1 legendary I currently have a p37 monk, p15 necro and p4 wiz doing those activities
well... i filled over 30 pages and had some dupe pages... just 1 legendary... im no immartal... the gear seller didnt gave me one until now... and im always missing world events because theres no schedule to keep all in mind.... also... orange bosses are super rare.... so yeah... i play a lot, like 6-8h a day and get 3-4 legendarys...
@@echohack i should have specified. 30 pages, 1 legendary in total but i get 2-4 legendarys a day overall. but i run like 20-30 dungeons, do 4-6 bestiarium pages, i do 2-3 bosses like martarus or hydra etc. und i grind my shadow contracts, bounties, even do battleground and stuff. still only 3-4 a day. maybe 5-6 if im lucky. also.... i have every weapon extracted... most of them i got 3-4 times... i only got 2 heads... and both the same one... only 10 shoulders rougly, 10 pants and maybe 20 chests... so the distrubution is horrible...
At first I was thinking people were just whining and complaining about how bad the monetization scheme in the game is. After about 3 weeks of playing now and spending about $150 I am already getting bored with the lack of content and I have also done some math... ...So, even if a person buys the Battle Pass monthly and plays the game for 8-12 hours a day FOR THE NEXT 1000 YEARS they still would not have a max level character! LMAO! Its fkn ridiculous and 100% true! Why First week I got from raiding vault hilts and lot of gold from chest and after that I only get essentia from that moment? Even after week reset, I never got the rewards again
I must be really unlucky then. I barely see 3 legendary items per day also still haven’t seen vision lost helm for dh. But if you say bestiary is the best then I guess I’ll farm some other areas
after reaching Paragon 30 i felt like grinding is useless after so many paywalls i have to get just to be strong. the fun of grinding legendaries is always there but sadly the stats of each legendaries i find this time are lesser stats than the ones i find in Hell 1, so i quit the game
i heard we should save that battle pass leggo till we hit lvl 50. i got mine asap but if im not mistaking it will be useless at endgame and ill need to farm up a 2nd one.
I still don’t believe it tbh. I do contracts/bestiary first thing in morning and haven’t had a drop in days. I did 4hours of dailies and set farming and not a single legendary drop. Also you never mentioned magic find and how that factors in
I've had double legendaries drop from bestiary many times 4 out of 5 times bestiary gives me legendary ive never gotten a legendary from contracts or bounties tho. Try realm of damnation hell 2 lots of ancient elites spawn there
How long were you farming to get the 40 legendary items from the bestiary? And where did you farm? I am lucky to get 3 turn ins because the hottest spots are always populated on my server and I generally don't even get a legendary from those 3 turn ins.
Hi, I do quest in Hell II from shadow clan and Bestiary and i get items for Hell 1 my paragon is 36 and my rift challenge 30 do you know why are the items that drops lower then Hell II ?

Is there any data if loot drops are better in Hell 2 compared to Hell 1? All my triple stat legendaries I got from Hell 2 never got one in Hell 1. Just RNG or actual better drop tables in higher difficulties?

40 legendaries a day? I played 7h yesterday and got like 5… essence hand in did give me 0 I did like 10 of them. (I mean it’s higher then whatever but I’m just not getting many???) Game reviewers on RUclips are the reason Blizzard is nerfing all the best farming zones...people need to STOP telling everybody where the areas are and let people find them...now all the afkers and campers are pulling Blizzards evil eye to the best areas and ruining the game for true players who find these areas. I believe you are wrong about gambling. I go gamble after i already dropped over 10 legendaries and many times in 10 gambles i get 2 legendaries. And is nice because you focus (kinda) the slot you have the worst legendary at and you usually upgrade it every now and then. Anyway money are meant for that reason only as currency so...I don't see why not.
Upgrades are going to require ALOT of gold. Gambling will definitely get you some more legendaries (it's best for target farming like you said) so I think we agree!

I've played a lot of mobile games, and psychologically - if they start at rock bottom, then every "improvement" made will make them look like the hero (like uncapping legend items ☝️) So yeah, they will probably change things, but very very slowly
The thing is who the hell wants to play this game again from scratch with a new char? I thought it was amazing for the first 4-5 days. After that? If they don’t give me a char swap after how bad I realized wizard is made to be crap and after all the money I put into it than I’m damn near ready to sew them! I killed 4 ancient elites, and GOT 0. I think the game measures your gameplay time then give you accordingly when you set or fill in the HIDDEN mechanic requiremenr.

I still don’t believe it tbh. I do contracts/bestiary first thing in morning and haven’t had a drop in days. I did 4hours of dailies and set farming and not a single legendary drop. Also you never mentioned magic find and how that factors in
I've had double legendaries drop from bestiary many times 4 out of 5 times bestiary gives me legendary ive never gotten a legendary from contracts or bounties tho. Try realm of damnation hell 2 lots of ancient elites spawn there

How long were you farming to get the 40 legendary items from the bestiary? And where did you farm? I am lucky to get 3 turn ins because the hottest spots are always populated on my server and I generally don't even get a legendary from those 3 turn ins.

Hi, I do quest in Hell II from shadow clan and Bestiary and i get items for Hell 1 my paragon is 36 and my rift challenge 30 do you know why are the items that drops lower then Hell II ?
So question: can you hold more than 10 monster essence at a time? Or do you gather 10, turn in, rinse repeat?

Is there any data if loot drops are better in Hell 2 compared to Hell 1? All my triple stat legendaries I got from Hell 2 never got one in Hell 1. Just RNG or actual better drop tables in higher difficulties?
So far we believe difficult does not influence drop rates

Nope tried it with saving 50+ legendaries when I hit p100 not everything was lvl100
I've always had pretty meh luck with gambling.. Maybe 1 legendary in 20 gambles every day.. Today, I got like 6 in 20 gambles. Whoa.

I believe you are wrong about gambling. I go gamble after i already dropped over 10 legendaries and many times in 10 gambles i get 2 legendaries. And is nice because you focus (kinda) the slot you have the worst legendary at and you usually upgrade it every now and then. Anyway money are meant for that reason only as currency so...I don't see why not.
Upgrades are going to require ALOT of gold. Gambling will definitely get you some more legendaries (it's best for target farming like you said) so I think we agree!

I've played a lot of mobile games, and psychologically - if they start at rock bottom, then every "improvement" made will make them look like the hero (like uncapping legend items ☝️) So yeah, they will probably change things, but very very slowly
The thing is who the hell wants to play this game again from scratch with a new char? I thought it was amazing for the first 4-5 days. After that? If they don’t give me a char swap after how bad I realized wizard is made to be crap and after all the money I put into it than I’m damn near ready to sew them! They better make some changes fast or else this whole game is about to fall off in 2 weeks.

I don't quite understand the Monster Essence farming. You just kill random monsters and open the book? Or you have to do certain tasks?

I killed 4 ancient elites, and GOT 0. I think the game measures your gameplay time then give you accordingly when you set or fill in the HIDDEN mechanic requiremenr.
