i recommend u to play POE1 for several days before POE2 early access to familiar with passive tree system ur brain will explode when u 1st time the passive tree

GGG gets more new players in the game with act 4-6 update. It’s harder to get new players with end game updates since a lot of casual players don’t play end game anyway.

I'm incredibly excited to play Poe2 , this is everything I wanted and more. The art/art style , graphics, spell effects, ost , monster/boss design, changes to the systems, skill gems out of gear, in game wiki, better explanations and more , it looks amazing The bosses in poe2 are so well done, souls like with good hitboxes, mechanics. I love that you can dodge and the bosses in maps don't just melt I bought the EA pack for Poe1 in 2012 after 4500h , here we go again in Poe2

Played a little bit of Path of Exile when I saw all the the stuff I felt overwhelmed with all the options I’m glad they simplified a lot of stuff makes me look forward to it
One of the things that makes the game good and unique is the complexity and options, what they've really done is just put a lot of Quality of Life features into the game to help people learn the systems, rather than just simplify everything. Wouldn't want you to get in there and realize it's still pretty complex. But give it a try on full release, if not EA, you might find all of the QoL stuff helps you engage with the systems better.

It's not overwhelming. There are just a lot of options. Which is a great thing. Gives you the ability to do what you enjoy. Instead of the game forcing you to do something you don't.

Love that the classes finally have some integrity. I love Poe1 but it always felt like you played a class and then did everything except what that class was supposed to do. You pick a monk and then you run around playing like a mage or spam totems.

I only had a casual interest in Path of Exile 1. Enjoyed it well enough but didn't have the energy to really dive into the endgame. But I feel like I might be going deep for the sequel; everything just looks so good and the design appears to better support trying stuff out

The endgame focus instead of the 4-6 acts might be the best decision in the history of ARPGs.
It makes such sense. End game and 4--6 will be better of because of it.

Not to mention by the time act 4-6 come out you will be happy to see them as you will have played acts 1-3 a million times.

It's still going to be complicated. Less so up front but keep the right expectations so you don't get disappointed.
