Things are different now...with the IS-6s and 8.0s. You always get outflanked or sniped.
But with the heat-fs you have now, you are basically unstoppable if you play it right

@@SpaceCatOfficial I think the point is that a shot like this would be impossible in real life for two reasons:
1) optics parallax would make it very unlikely that your shot would hit that exact spot, but most importantly
2) the gap between the mantlet and the superstructure is too small. I'm not sure if it's even large enough for the shell to pass through, but if anything, it would likely be deflected sideways, not penetrating

@@douglet2294 Damm its been like 3 years since. The meta has changed ever since. 6.7 meta is essentially HEATFS spam and constant cold war uptiers and tanks. M26E1 was pretty fun back then but now its a relic in this new meta.

Hello! Thanks for the review. I just want to clarify since this was made six months ago. Is the M46 still a good premium? They have a sell on it right now and I have the gold. I was going to save up for a Ru251 as I like high mobility tanks vs. giant land ships. But the M46 is on sale and I just need a good credit grinder with high mobility. So, is it still worth getting into?

Personally I think the m46 is a good grinder tank but make sure you don’t rely on your armour since for 7.0 it not that good but if you can get it then get it

I seem to have a problem with the M46 where the CHEATFS is absolutely useless. It acts like solid shot and only injures a single crew member, doesn't explode ammo or fuel tanks. It happens with at least half my shots from this tank. Or I fire it right at the side of a Jagdtiger or something, and it doesn't pen. Whereas HEATFS from any other tank I fire nukes everyone in 1 or 2 shots.

Thus this tank is a "TIGER TANK"
The film was so historically inaccurate, Eisenhower publicly slammed due to its historical inaccuracy while the filmmakers claimed it's a legit Tiger lol.

T29 has good armour, but the tank is slow and the reload is even slower. It's a heavy tank. The M46 is fast, has decent armour, and has a really good gun. Wait until the sale at the end of the month, and see which play style you like more.

T-29 is superior American premium
its slow as shit, has an awful reload, and only gets an extra 40g of HE filler. The M46 Tiger fits the meta of the game much better.
210mm of pen is a problem in any subpar situation. Also T29 isn't that slow when you remember that the sheer caliber of it's gun and increased pen on the capped and ballistic capped shells impacts way further than the M46. Also M46 is slower and weaker than Panther II when both are fully modified. Only thing it has going on is the new zoom
