if you load less 22 shells your top racks are empty and thus increasing the survivabillity. also the tiger always gets uptiered.
DV_laeffy i use 30 shells, less than 5% of my deaths were ammo racks
Yeah at 30 there is only a small rack in the side where shots rarely get to (unless I get unlucky angling against something like a panther 2)

Bronto Scorpio I don’t see the problem considering something like that did happen in real life. Also, I would say the Hellcat and SBD were more important to winning the war than the P-51.
But it didn't happen in real life. It's literally a physically impossible maneuver.

Kolos Barlik yea but in red tails it is completely impossible as shown.The speed shown in red tails would probably rip the plane apart never mind the pilot passing out from the g’s.You actually need to be going slow to do that manoeuvre.

But you can increase your luck with the more money you spend on gajin game and Adidas you wear while playing.
This is why I bounce Flak bus shots in T-34 no angle.
Dov I bounced a dicker max shot with my t34 1942.During the game I got ridiculous luck with shots bouncing off my armour.Some of them was because I angled properly but other times it was just bias

As a current tiger user, I have to say that angling has saved me so many times
I’ve never had the tiger I’m not there yet but I can say angling panzer 4 has also saved me many times
I've recently started taking only 22 shells in my Tiger and though it can be really annoying sometimes, it's also saved me on multiple occasions against Comets and Fireflies.
30 shells is an excellent number, you only have 2 ammo racks, and I've never dropped below 18 shells
I take 31. The one is to clear obstacles near spawn.
I take 4 of the low pen big filler ammo for if I'm at 5.7. then I take 5 HEAT for open tops
20 for my Tiger H1
20 or 25 but not this uneven shit

I was dumbfounded when gaijin dropped this to 5.7. No is 6! Probably the only time they've done anything to help the fatherland in all 5 years. Raising the panther 2 to 7.0 after adding dominant opposition is more their style.

Too bad the recent update while neutering T-34s, killed the Tiger's angling ability and reduced it to mainly RNG.

Overmatch? Whatever it's called. T-34s stopped being bounce machines. At the same time, Tigers stopped bouncing most shots too.

Agreed. That's honestly the one thing that the Tiger E has that I consider an important enough improvement over the H1 to actually warrant dealing with being uptiered to at least 6.3 in every game it gets into.

My personal suggestion is that if your tank has APCR, take at least a small amount of it. It's allowed me to frontally take down a Tiger II H in this thing (obviously saving my life in the process), something the stock shell will never be able to say.

This video is 3 years old and they still have not learned. Now the Tiger H1 is 5.3 and the M4A3 (76) is 5.7.
At least now it has become a undeniable fact which faction has more skilled players and the proof is right there in the game for every axis player to see.
Since the tiger's armor is thicker in the front, it makes more sense to adopt a 20-25 degree angle away from directly facing the enemy, not 45, that way the effective thickness of the front and side is more equal and the thinner side armor has a smaller profile.
You forgot the anti air machine gun, this is a nice little bonus over the 1h

Dj Slimdick IS-2 has big copula (weakspot), front of the turret and lower plate are another easy to hit weakspots, strange hull-front shape, very long reolad and no real depression. Tiger can one-shot everything it faces but has way faster reolad and it's better for angling. I'd pick Tiger I over IS-2 for normal battles. But IS-2 is better for 1v1.

I hate playing the tiger 1. Its a great tank and i get lots of kills but my teammates are always shit and i lose. After a while it is just not fun anymore when you only get 1 win in 10 games.

The 'little trick I learned' was actually done by a pilot in WW2, but it's not excusable in the movie.

Ffionn Cutie fox multiple enemies are a death setence to tigers, also if the guy is good he'll shot at either a corner or a less angled area of the tank. 30 to 45 degrees is a good angle to engage enemies

I as a BIAS tankei found that the best way to kill a Tiger is not that complicated . Just put a 152 or 122 mm in the general direction and you are done .

Well to the 51’s defense, it did mark the end of the luftwaffe when it began seing action in 1944 which in turn gave the allies in the west total air superiority which consequently erased the possibility of the invading allied army to be attacked from above... it didnt win the war, no that credit goes to the soviets, but it was a huge game changer without a doubt.

In all honesty the greatest tanks of the war for each nation were: the M4 Sherman, Panzer 4, t34/85, (I’m not mentioning any Tokio Jokio tanks), p40 and the m4 VC Firefly (American base but British gun that poached tigers)
