@@fazegregpaul3152 When I saw someone post it, I reacted the same way as you. When I played it, I "got it". Astro is super personable, even though he doesn't talk and the worlds are so carefully crafted it puts Bandicoot 4 to shame. It truly is a marvel that I honestly never expected. :) Edit: what I mean when I say that, is that there's a bunch of fantastic platformers out there, but none breaks the mold as much by its aesthetic, its use of tech (finally a game that uses the haptic tech correctly) and has a potential console mascot since Mario which is charming for all ages.

It is refreshing to see a youtuber or journalist who isn't a poser and actually know Astrobot started in VR and even before that. The amount of people who say that PS5 playroom was his first game, makes me very mad.
I was waiting for your Concord review, but this is good too
Not his type of game and......I'm sure you have heard the news by now.
Happy Console Gamer on the weekday
Definitely a must buy for me. Thanks man🎉🎉🎉
I'm legitimately considering getting a PS5 secondhand just for this game
I’ll definitely pick it up but will wait until it has been discounted some. The backlog is real. 😊
I am definitely getting this game too when I get the PS5 Pro because I currently don’t own a PS5
I am so exicited 🥰🥰🥰 I love these games and the controller looks great too. I ordered both…fantastic weekend. 🥳
Just got the platinum! I love this game. We want more of this Sony.
So happy for Team Asobi Well Deserved gutted im working tomorrow though but preordered digital deluxe 🔥
Ordered last night.. Game has been shipped
I have a game pre-ordered. My wife and I loved Astro's Playroom and wanted a full fledged game of it. So excited for this
I can't wait!!!
At this point I'm done through the first world and I can already safely say this is the most fun platformer since SM64. It's innovative, happy and super addictive. Definitely in my top 3 of 2024.
That says a lot , M64 is a very high bar .
Yes!
I already have it preordered and im just waiting the last 3 hours to play
Looks amazing. I still feel that Rescue Mission VR is one of the best games ever, top ten for me personally. I was smiling the whole time. I really want to play this but I don't have a PS5 and I really can't justify buying one yet, which is a shame. I think the PS4/Switch generation is the best since the 16-bit days but the PS5 generation doesn't have much for old school gamers.
The ps5 has quite a few games now tbf
@@petebagwell6666 I haven't seen anything that isn't available on PS4.
@@RyuHayabusa06 Unless you have a high end PC to play the ports Racchet and Clank games are excellent . Sackboys Adventure surprised me. It has games outside of platformers if you are willing but if you want exclusive platformers only you have some but not a ton.
This game is phenomenal, just a special game and brand. First game I played was astro's playroom and loved it 😎👌👏 these are the kinds of games we want as playstation gamers, not online, microtransaction crap.
Thanks for sharing your review. I'm so glad you like Astro Bot. I'm super excited. I have the cute plushy. The Astro Bot controller should arrive at my house today.
Taking the plunge, thanks for the review. My two kids love Playroom, sounds like this will be up their alley too.
I'm beyond excited for this! I have lasting memories playing Astro's Playroom with my kids and can't wait to play this with them. I just hope I'm able to find the controller at my local game store! 🤞
Great review, I'm definitely looking forward to checking out Astro Bot. Astro's Playroom was a pleasant surprise and this looks like a blast and just a lot of fun. I'm hoping the soundtrack delivers like Astro's Playroom did, I still listen to "I'm Your GPU" 😅
Hope you do a review of Visions of Mana
Heck yeah. I got the game, just waiting to get out of work at 11 and go play. I too got two of the astro bot dualsense controllers and the astro bot plush just because
This is the first game I pre-order this year and stop playing anything for, I can't wait!!
When I first saw the preorder on VGP i thought it was just a physical copy for the tech demo. I was like that’s neat but not worth full price. Now Ive seen you and Pete Dorr talk about it and I’m sold. Looking forward to playing this one sooner than later. That controller is awesome! Too bad everyone thought so too lol. Maybe they’ll make a few more ha
Wow this looks cool. Love your channel and your personality is a breath of fresh air. Thanks for doing what you do!
