We can see the vibration damper at 15:15. I don't see that on many cars - and replacements are hard to find. What is your opinion on these? Mine is a bit cracked but still decent. I read some forum members just threw it out. Does it really help with vibrations? I feel like it makes my car vibrate more than it helps... :D
It's not necessary. The earlier year cars did not have it and they were fine. I'm sure it makes a little bit of a difference but you'll be fine without it.
The build quality is amazing, an absolute German tank.
You got that right!
Agreed on not re-plating. Gorgeous and genuine as-is.

I been kicking around getting a set of quick jacks.
I like them they're very heavy and cumbersome to get into place but if you do what I do they help a lot

@@woodsandbarclay i'm suprised my 79 NA300D has it. I guess if it ever disintegrates, i'm not replacing it.
Have a happy new year's eve!
Yeah that's interesting I've only seen this on 85 model cars.
Can you do a video on that in tank strainer service?
If you go to the website there are already nine videos on this car and I think video seven or eight shows that process
