The updated Amazon SES free plan includes up to 3,000 emails free per month for the first 12 months only. (It used to be 62k emails per month on a free plan 😞) It also looks like this free plan will be going away forever starting August 2024.

the problem is you have to get approved first lol, and amazon ses is declining approvals.
