- Today we are back out at the beautiful Newport Golf Club hunting for lost golf balls! You guys loved the last golf ball hunting video we did, so this time we are going to make it more interesting by seeing how much money we can make hunting for golf balls! We also have a side bet with Pops to see who can find the most Pro V1s with Logos and Stamps. You won't believe how much money we came out with at the end, but we are giving most of these balls back to the course as a thank you for hosting this awesome content!

How do you judge the price pf the golf balls?
It's all individual pricing per dozen based on quality, grade, make, and model. I still don't actually sell them, just accurately price and inventory them for the data 😇

Cool video...I'm really impressed with the data you keep on them. As for me? Give me the cheapest TopFlite balls on the shelf....I'll just lose them anyways, and find better balls looking for mine! Hahaha!

I don't score my rounds because I'm not good, and it takes all the fun out of it. However, I do keep track of how many I lose. I average -3. Once I was +5

Are the Prov1X left dash balls similar to the dot?
Mmmm not particularly, they both fill different niches that the normal V1 and V1x don't. The left dash is still in production and it's claim to fame is that it is the firmest premium ball so it is loved by many folks focused on max distance!
Love your enthusiasm for finding golf balls, i used to spend most of my playing time finding golf balls in the rough/bushes, much to the annoyance of my playing partners 😁. I see it the same as people throwing money on the floor. Happy Hunting!!!!

We always offer them back to the golf courses, that's part of our agreement to pick and film. They can use them for their range, youth programs, etc. Whatever they don't want I keep and test on the simulator in my garage ☺️

How do you rate golf balls you find
@@cliffordbradford1392 I clean and inventory each one as you see, so I base all my information off of 3rd party ball resellers like eBay, lost golf balls, etc per dozen. Obviously if you price out a single ball it's more expensive, and if you price out 100balls bulk it's less expensive, so all my prices are based on current market value of each make, model, and condition per dozen. 😁
What is your day job, or do you do youtube full time?
I'm a full time caregiver to my young daughter. Not many child care options where I live, it is what it is. RUclips takes about 30 or so hours of my time a week. You will also be pleased to know we filmed a full 22 on Muskrat Links today!

How are you pricing all the different balls for find?
29:10 Save time, use a dish washer.
Quality based on the typical industry standard for used balls, 5A, 4A, and 3A. Then I break that down into premium Urethane, Value Urethane, and Ionomer/Surlyn. Anything too old or damaged gets put in the Junk category which is essentially hit-away balls. Great question!

How do you price your balls found on golf course .??
Market value per dozen on eBay sold listings, all appropriately graded using the standard industry grading system. Occasionally if a ball is rare I will take the single ball value since people normally buy one unit instead of dozens at a time. Great question!
What makes a ball rare ?..
@@ralphpagan3371 Usually it's limited runs that are out of production so they can't be purchased anymore except for after market. An example would be the taco bell Callaway truvis.
