I'm excited to see this one!! You did a great job on the sand capping 💪🎉 I love the hardscape and the Java moss and moss balls you used!! Getting creative is what makes it so much fun! You did an absolutely beautiful job!! Great tutorial!! When I started my Father Fish tanks I had never used sand either and I don't think I'll ever go back 😄 Thanks for sharing!! I hope you have a blessed day 🙏🌿🐟🌿💚
Thank you!! 🙏 I really enjoyed using the sand, and it worked well as a cap to stop any nutrients getting into the water column. Looking forward to seeing how it looks in a couple of months as it starts to mature and the plants take off! Happy New Year!! 🥳
Always Love a new build video! Esp small tanks :) I start my set ups w/plants and snails too. I prefer a smattering of pebbles/sand to maximize water volume, rather than deep substrate, just works better for me. Looking forward to watching this one 'bloom'. :) Thanks again!!
Thank you! Yeah, build videos are definitely my favourite videos to watch and make!!! I know what you mean about maximising the water volume by using less substate, I’ve done that a lot in the past, but thought I’d try something new this time, plus with the plan being to put the 2 elderly guppies in there, there should still be plenty of space for them! Thanks again for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it! 🌿🐟🌿
@@GingerFishyOfficial once you get to 100 it wil go faster to, the algoritmes wil know who to target. Hopefully you havent done the same mistakes as I did and ask friends that aren't in to fish vids. They screw up the algoritme 😋
@@vertigoone-one-722 yeah, I had a couple of my friends and family subscribe, but hopefully not enough to mess with the Algorithm. Looking forward to 100 subscribers now! Thanks again for the support bro!!!
Thank you, I appreciate your kind words! Hopefully should really start to look good over the next couple of months as the plants start to grow in!!!🌿🐟🌿
Brother , have you ever kept native fish from where you live ? I am gradually switching from tropicals to native fish from here in Texas . eventually I would like to set up several tanks with natives from all over the U.S. also I watch another channel called , the Ginger Fisherman , his accent is similar to yours ,he might be near you≥ interesting coincidence in names is all. Happy News from me and mine , to You and yours !
I do like the idea of native fish, and weirdly enough I was at my local LFS the other day, and they had sticklebacks in, which I’ve never seen anywhere before, and I thought to myself at the time it would be cool to set a tank up for them! Other than sticklebacks though I don’t think we really have any other native fish that are small enough to go in an aquarium 🤔 Happy New Years to you and yours as well bro!
Tank turned out really nice. With it being a dirted tank the plants will take off amazingly. Can't wait to see an update 🤗 👍
Thank you! Hopefully the plants will start to fill out a bit, and will definitely be doing some future updates!!! 🌿🐟🌿
Very nice. I am glad that Mary Paige let us know about your channel. Best of luck!
Thank you very much 😊 Will be interesting to see how the deep sand bed does over the next few months! 🌿🐟🌿
