I've been there as well-fractured neck -coming out of anesthetic from neck and skull fusion the pain was unreal, then the morphine hit-pain was gone, and I felt great,I didn't need it for long, but while I did it was great, messes up the sense of time a bit though, but the sleep works wonders.
I was given morphine after a C2 vertebrae bone and wire fusion with halo brace surgery in neck. I quit breathing after they gave me the morphine and almost died.
I would of asked for more medicine.. Tell nurses I am at a 8-9 main level. Here in the states you get nothing for pain. I had part of my finger chopped of, got 5...325, month later my foot surgery..5....325. Amazing how a bunch of drug addicts, fuck it up for everyone.
Good to see Mick playing acoustic guitar, he is a good rythm guitar player. If you think about it he is not just a singer, he plays keys and harmonica very good.

No your not old and I know what you mean by Sticky Fingers (1971) sound. Love that Album and this song on it. Mick did great in this live version. Wish Keith played more like original. Also Mick Taylor played on this in 71, so that may also be why it sounds different. ✌️

Great haunting song. The darkness is real. Who wrote what always confuses me. Mick says Marianne just came up with a couple of lines while he wrote the rest but Marianne says she wrote the entire lyrics.
