      Thank you, and keep up the great work! I had to mention MoreBeer not just because of where I (My Wife actually) bought the Kegerator, but because you all have been doing a fantastic job. You have been diversifying your inventory massively, delivering purchases timely, and I love your new RUclips videos. I know they may have been more for marketing initially. Still, they also are showing the entire homebrewing community that the people at MoreBeer are just as excited about homebrewing as the entire homebrewing community is, which is awesome! Keep up the great work!

    I have had the Single cooler 4 tap draft tower for over a year. It is really an amazing system for home brewers. The reliability has been flawless thus far. I keep mine in a non temp controlled garage. My former keezer has been retired for temp control fermentation because this unit is SO MUCH BETTER. MoreBeer does a fantastic job on the support of this product. If you can be patient I have seen them offer considerable discounts (20%off) 2 or 3 times this past year, just sign up for their mailing list. Anyone come up with some solutions for labeling your tap handles? Very very good review on an amazing product! Be prepared the draft tower install can be quite the chore if you don't go slow, take your time, and plan out all your connections and tubing lengths BEFORE you start assembling connections. CHEERS

      Excellent to hear! I do have my concerns about getting my hands inside the towers for assembly as it will be a bit tight. As for tap labels, MoreBeer offers their black plastic ones with the big labels that come with most of their beer kits but I also something a while back on easily making your own card inserts. Can't remember if it was a printer label or what, maybe I'll have to research that again. I do have some rather large home made wood tap handles with chalk labels but I could easily just number them and put a list on a board or LCD panel to help make things easier. (Nice tap handles can be a bit expensive.) Cheers!

    Nice I got the single 4 tap version a year ago. Love it so far. I keep it in my garage. I did run into an issue living in Florida. The cold line that comes out of the compressor started to build condensation and dripping down on to the bottom platform causing it to rust. Contacted support and they offered me a good discount and some Starsan to passivate the rusted area. They also told me to place some insulation on the line to prevent further damage.

      Nice to hear and Great Recommendation on the insulation as I'm in Florida and it is always hot and humid. Jacksonville, FL isn't as bad as S. Florida, as I grew up in WPB area which was a bit hotter. I'll keep a close eye on it and appreciate the heads up!

    What a unit! Can't wait till these make their way to Canada. It's my perfect kegerator. I especially like the two gas ports. I would use that to run nitrogen on my stouts and porters.

    More beer is great for shipping, I literally ordered some stuff on a Friday and it was delivered on SUNDAY July 3rd. I never expected it until after the holiday for the 4th. Yesterday I ordered a new Fermzilla and a bunch of ingredients and it is set to be here tomorrow. I am blown away by MoreBeer and how quick they fulfill orders. Gone are the days of waiting 17 days for your order to ship from the other large homebrew website :D

    • @BitterRealityBrewing
      @BitterRealityBrewing  Год назад +1

      Those days of waiting for things to ship wasn't that long ago and there are a few online beer supply companies still doing it. Although for your turn around you probably are very close to one of their warehouses as you are having crazy fast turn around! I did order some yeast a while back from a company who I'll leave nameless but I only ordered from them as they showed the yeast I wanted as being in stock and NO ONE else had it in stock. They shipped it over a week later when everyone finally was showing it as in stock. Based on that experience, I'll never trust that company to have things in stock as the lied to grab the sales from other companies I would have preferred to order from.

    • @codebowl
      @codebowl Год назад

      @@BitterRealityBrewing yeah I'm not too far but again not too close to one of their shipping facilities I'm in southern Vermont and their closest one to me somewhere in Pennsylvania. I as well can't stand companies that will sell things out of stock and then fulfill the order when they come in stock without letting the customer know, that's sneaky.

    Did you ever end up doing a review video/have one planned? I’m thinking of getting this exact one but can’t find many reviews online based on experience.

    • @BitterRealityBrewing
      @BitterRealityBrewing  7 месяцев назад +1

      No, but I did do a massive build video that I think you will find extremely informative.
      ruclips.net/video/JlLH_xhBRyM/видео.html
      I will do a video comparing it to my Keezer as there are a handful of pros and cons of both systems. Like a full keg is 54 lbs and I HATE lifting those into my Keezer, but are really easy to put into my Komos. While on the Komos, there is a lot less free area above the kegs to work with hoses which can be stiff due to the cold temps making them harder to work with. I did have one leak on the Komos with all the Duotight fittings but it was on one of the disconnects which that is usually where I have leeks on the Keezer. Ball Lock disconnects are the weakest link for both systems. When people walk into my brew space for the first time, they always like the looks of the Komos over my custom built Keezer.

      @@BitterRealityBrewing thanks for the reply! I’ve been watching your videos for quite a while and always enjoy them/your style! So, thanks for that and Happy New Years!
      Having used the Komos for a while, would you have any reservations recommending it/would you recommend a different kegerator/setup if I’m looking for similar capacity (8ish corny kegs)?

  • @ronbarnes5354

    It’s says it will fit 8 Pepsi style kegs. Have you tried putting all 8 in there? How well did they all fit?

    • @BitterRealityBrewing

      Actually, I haven't but I am now thinking I need to double check to ensure it is good as I need to brew a ton of beer to help fill it up now that I've moved into my new brewing space! I'm excited to have 15 kegs on tap between this kegerator and my custom keezer. (I love my keezer but lifting 54 lbs or beer into the keezer is getting rough.)

  • @danjohnson2280
    @danjohnson2280 7 месяцев назад +1

    How’s the tower temp holding? I have BYO Danby keg with no fan and I have issues with the first few ounces if it’s sitting for a week. The beer is stale and darker when I fist pour but I can’t wrap my head around it being a temp issue. Because tons of beer at bottle shops are sitting on room temp shelves and seem to be ok.

    • @BitterRealityBrewing
      @BitterRealityBrewing  7 месяцев назад +1

      There is a lot of insulation in the towers and I feel the fan helps, but if I haven't poured from any tap on the Komos or my keezer in a few days, I always dump the first once or two, before pouring someone a glass to ensure proper carbonation and fresh beer. I haven't noticed any stale beer when I pour direct from a tap unused for a while (as I usually don't care and will drink the first few ounces with the rest of the pour), but the carbonation is a bit lower, although the warmer tap usually counters that.

    Yo Mike, where Tha hell you get all this money for buying this luxurious goods from?

    • @BitterRealityBrewing
      @BitterRealityBrewing  Год назад +2

      🤣😂Some people have boats, and some have nice cars (I love my car, but it is paid for and going on 10 years old). Actually, I sold our house a while back, and now that the new house is almost complete, my wife and I agreed that I had $10k to help make my new brew studio the best I could. The 2nd kegerator (my 1st if my keezer) was a "Want" and not a "Need" but I REALLY "WANTED" it was included in that budget. Other items in the Brew Studio budget, of course, will be an A/C, paint, a large steel table, a large steel sink, an RO water system, and, hopefully, a nice epoxy floor. Any extra money left over will go to helping move my lighting to the ceiling and some furniture for the space. Summary: Anyone who owns a house can afford a nice kegerator by just selling their house. 🤣😂🤣😂 The big justification is that brewing is good for my health as I love the hobby, and it keeps both my mind and body busy during a brew day. Cheers!
