This video could not have been more perfectly timed. I had ordered the 4 tap version of this kegerator and watched this video (twice) and was able to tear into that thing today and set it up in about 30 minutes. This was so well done that once finished I realized there were no instructions included in my unit. No need. One difference was the tower kit I had to assemble did not have the mounting flange and escutcheon allowing for the screws to be tightened with ease from the outside. I had to reach down inside the tower and blindly thread and screw the fasteners down. Talk about using The Force.....
Fittings are also called pushlock just get the liquid rated ones and you can also get them stainless. you can use good Teflon paint lines(there're food safe) and basicly get any size
I've seen sanke connectors with ball posts on them so you can use any keg without having to swap connectors on your lines. Just pop the ball connectors on and get 'er done.
This channel popped up in my feed, I resisted watching for a while because I thought it said genius brewing. After watching a couple videos and realizing there was no genius involved I'm now really enjoying the channel. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the video! One question I have is after you feed the gas line through the port in the back of the kegerator, is there any type of gasket or something to help seal that hole? The port looked much bigger than the gas line so I would think there would be quite a bit of cold air lost through there?
I rebuilt my kegerator lines recently (an older version) the first time I did barbs and this time I did duotight fittings. The first time with barbs involved alot swearing and sore hands. The duotight rebuild went smoothly. Assuming they hold up I don't think I would do barbs again.
All I want is a mini fridge big enough to use as a fermentation chamber/kegerator. None to be found within a 250 mile radius of my ZIP code! It's crazy.
I so hate to offer a critical comment because I love what you guys do. But... buy a $30 boom pole for your mic. Will allow you to use both hands during assembly, enhance the video's overall appearance, and wait for it... increase social distancing. Again, sorry.
Found ur video as I have that exact unit “on the way”. Appreciate the the step by step, explanation. I’m ever excited!
Thanks, great video. Wish I had watched this before unboxing!
I love my 2 tap edgestar kegerator. Best fathers day gift ever thanks to my son and my wife!!!

I aquired one of these used. Seems to be running good. Does the fan cut off and on with the compressor or is it always on, always off via the switch?
Hey guys, love the video. I'm in the process of setting mine up right now. What length liquid lines would recommend? 5 ft per keg?
If it's poly line like in this video a little over 5ft is appropriate- 6 ft should be perfect. If it's vinyl 4 ft

We meant to be genius brewing but we spelled it wrong :'(
@@GenusBrewing all the more fitting, it would seem.

Well made video Pedro.
Thanks!

Glad it helped!

Do you still recommend this kegerator?
Does this fridge have a internal light that comes on when door is opened?
Do you need to sanitize the liquid lines?
Is there a kit to install this into a bar top where the tower is not attached to the kegerator?
Where do you recommend installing a secondary regulator inside the Komos v2?
Ours we put on the inside left wall
Have you tried using boiling water instead of a heat gun on polyethylene lines?
I have a kegerator, I just want that tower cooler. Wish I could just get that.
Garry Spencer you can buy aftermarket tower coolers. Got one off amazon and it works awesome!
I see the UI and Gonzaga flags, are you local to the Palouse?
Can someone provide the sizes and types of fittings to purchase outside of what comes with it?
Thanks,
AJ
We haven’t been able to find a freezer for a keezer build since COVID panic hit 😓
Home Depot has a lot of them. In Bensalem Pennsylvania. I would think more Home Depot has them also. Good luck. #STAYSAFE

What is the diffrence between the kegland kegerator X and the Komos kegerator?
I have the keg king brand and it's basically exactly the same, it just came with clamps instead of duotight fittings
According to Kegland, Komos is just More Beer's name brand for their kegerators. Besides that, they're identical.
First!
You guys around eastern WA?
Yes - Spokane!
This is literally the exact same unit as the keg king, except I got the 3 tap version.
LAST!
