Yea, for a gamified and highly speculative simulation of it. It's an amazing aircraft but this means next to nothing. Being so heavily armed and yet remaining so stealthy certainly makes it a generous simulation.
@@snizami Stealth is, among many things, relative. To an F-5 an F-18E might be stealth because of how outclassed the technology between the two are. Either way, external weapons don't automatically remove stealth and make you detectable from 100 miles out (assuming the Gripen C could reach that far). It _will_ increase RCS, but in the case it's at least plausible that it doesn't do so enough to outweigh the benefits of the extra missiles. Should be noted that the F-35 did hit the minimum requirements for the program while carrying some sort of external payloads as well, though which ones are classified but it's likely the wingtip Winders. For reference, the Raptor carries tanks in exercises to keep things _fair._

Would love to see the EW suite of a Gripen E modeled in DCS. These old Gripen Cs obviously wouldn't stand a chance against F35s, but Gripen E now thats a whole different ballgame.
@@johanlassen6448 They wouldnt since E has heat IR detectors that could pick up the heat from a stealth planes engine 500km away so stealth means nothing anymore 😂. And Yeah, A gripen is a lot faster and a lot more agile than an f35 if it becomes a dogfight
@@graffzon 1. No IRST can pick up heat sources at 500 km away, you are high on copium lad. 2. Stealth planes have IR reducing features, making them even more difficult to detect with IR at range than even 4th gens. 3. F-35 is both faster and more maneuverable than JAS-39E when both are combat loaded. 4. There would never be a dogfight (even though F-35 is more agile) because the F-35 would shoot down the JAS-39E at BVR. EVEN if it fails to do so, it could just escape because the JAS still doesn't know where the F-35 is shooting from. There is a reason, little one, that even SAAB is trying to develop a stealth plane for their next gen. But you keep smoking that copium.
Can you duplicate this using you current F35 tactics:: “27-0 in a single sortie against F-16s at operation Northern Lightning (with only 4 F-35s doing that killing). Quoted: “We took off out of Madison (to join the fight),” said Lt. Col. Bart Van Roo, 176th FS commander. “We went to our simulated air field out in the far part of the air space. The gripens not using their Electronic jammers, no kind of electronic devices used by Gripens while the F35s are using jammers the whole fight. Im also disappointed that they are not using a more modern gripen. (Gripen C the one I think they are using was introduced in 1996 while the F36 was introduced in 2015...
@ basically everyone who knows even the slightest bit about radar. He might be exaggerating a bit it wouldn’t negate most of it but it would definitely increase the RCS by quite a bit
When the F-35 is fully modeled, I want to see GS bring Toxic on as an ally, and watch them both fly F-35s against something that sounds crazy. Like an entire squadron of J-20s or J-15s/J-10s. I bet theyd win

@@l8knight845 nah, aim 9x's negate any advantage that the super hornet may, or may not have. it would come down to which pilot aquired lock in their helmet first.. likely having a lot of instances where both planes were knocked down too. both planes can bleed energry and point its nose. the f35 has the thrust to gain that speed back or go vertical where a slow hornet may not be able to follow. may not matter if both planes are packing 9x's though.

@@cazcade77 I actually think they tried to model the C version. But it's not well implemented. They basically disregarded the whole EW suite for Gripen which is one of it's strongest capabilities.
F35 might not be the best looking jet ever made but technologically and how it performs in its role it’s more or less uncontested. It’s also a miracle it even works when the US government wanted one aircraft platform that can be a standard stealth multirole, STOL/VTOL ,and a Naval multirole.
Would be fun to se 2 Gripen E models and a global eye AWACS against 2 F-35. The hole point of Gripens is its ability to cooperate with each other and AWACS and share data.

Recently Brazilian Gripen E's scored 2 simulated air kills against american F-15C's. Try to simulate that fight in a future video. If you could get a Brazilian livery for the Gripens that would be good too
@@bshaw71 I'm sticking to the real deal that happened in the last 10 days or so...if the americans had brought the F-15EX instead of the C i would be asking him to recreate the scenario just fine but it weren't. The actual real combat was between Gripen E x F-15C
@@peterp4037 F-15Cs are massive on radar and the Meteor is a more capable threat than the AIM-120D. I'd only expect the F-15Cs to win once they get modern missiles.
@@peterp4037 those 104 kills were old Mig 29/23/21, Su 25/22/17/7 and a few Mirage F1 along with some old helicopters. Nothing modern so no, it wasn't just some lucky shots made by the JAS39's.

A needed DCS update. Under wing load should negate most of the F-35s stealth.

New pylon mounts incorporate stealth technology into them. There's plans to adapt them onto the F-22 as well.
