This game is what got me into video games. I remember when call of duty actually had a good story, now it just blah. And i also remember the good old health bar instead of regenerating your health
Infinite Warfare hard? Plis men the first time i completed that game was in veterant and is more way easy than the normal difficulty on Finest hour. And yeah both are great games in the single player campaign but infinite warfare was released in bad time por call of duty Series, well the only thing i left to say is Hail To Finest Hour and our childhood xd.
Looking back I really appreciated Finest Hour in the COD series because it portrayed war narratives abit more realistically. Showing perspective such as Sam Rivers's unit prove that World war 2 was a GLOBAL WAR with DIVERSE PEOPLE and THEIR STRUGGLES. Also I love how real it got with the opening cutscene where if Chuck's guys don't take that bridge they will get executed for treason, something you don't see from the many American perspectives of WW2. The next game in the series to achieve this level of gritty realism was COD WORLD AT WAR.
same, this and the old medal of honor games got me into history. i got amazed when dad stated telling me stories about the games i plyed and how they are besed on a real war
The mesmerizing detail here is the support fire from the tanks behind you. The amount of cover fire depends on how many tanks you defend in the previous mission, if you lose mayority of them you barely will have support. If you protect them all you will have enough firepower to help you
@pegleggreg3627 yes i think u get like 4 tanks to follow and protect in the previous mission (if i can remember being i was 7 years in 2004 when i played this) if you lost 2 out of 4 tanks you could still pass the mission but at cost of low support from the rear, but if you protect all the tanks, in this mission all 4 tanks rain down machine gun and explosive fire from the nose turret and body guns. Like you said its so cool how the programming worked back then. Of course if you pass it and choose to replay this mission instead of the one before only 2 tanks appear instead of the 4. They thought of everything back then.
Not A Doctor "WWII's Remagen Brigde" is WTF!!,beacuse there's no Remagen Town at sight and....,do you see any tree's on this Mission?.If that's is the last Brigde standing over the "Rine River" then, why WWII didn't copy this for their Mission?,or Chuck's unit are getting across another "Remagen Bridge".
Mt friends, let's take this moment on how wonderful thus game was. I remember this being my first cod on gamecube and will always be the best cod. you will be remembered because of this game.
Lot of nostalgia watching these old clips! This was the hardest campaign in my opinion. Finest hour got my PS2 taken away from me a lot with the F bombs I'd drop. Always hated how few checkpoints they're were in this game. The lighting in this game always made it really hard for me to. Lots of time you go into dark places and the Germans dark uniforms just blend in.
Thank god. I can finally take a break from no-scopes or none of those crappy MLG memes. I just get to stay back and remember the best HISTORICAL/REAL cod games and their campaigns.
It pains me to see someone actually misinterpret the horizontal lines on the scope as purely cosmetic. He kept killing everyone while aiming way above them, gold.

@@TheRagingMage well i completed it this week for the first time, but the bridge itself was easy, using an sniper made clear the enemies really fast. the level before was more hard hehe.
Which is, of course, not at all historically accurate as in real-world history, nearly all of the German defenders of both Remagen and the Ludendorff Bridge either immediately surrendered upon making contact with American troops or otherwise immediately deserted once the fighting started. Both Remagen itself and the Ludendorff Bridge fell with hardly a fight with the Americans not so much as suffering a single scratch throughout the entire engagement. I nearly finish this mission as a kid but then all of a sudden I somehow fall through the floor or something and the game just broke lol and worst is I didn't save
@@jimpoop what he meant was that the towers are still standing from each side. The bridge is obviously long gone. I think that During the siege of Berlin, the Americans tried rebuilding the bridge so more tanks can cross over, sadly it sustained so much damage that it finally collapsed, some workers and soldiers were injured/died.
