    • @mqfii8992
      @mqfii8992 9 месяцев назад +44

      I can see this in two ways. Let's first assume that the average of blood orbs dropped are 5.
      1 - Each orb represents partially how much money a person's life Is worth. For the sake of argument, 1/5 of all the earnings said person amassed during their lifetime.
      2 - If we're going into black market prices the same way organs are treated there, so the orbs as life essence could be worth millions each.

    • @booneshow1863
      @booneshow1863 9 месяцев назад +12

      That’s what pisses me off so MUCH, you cant use modern laws before they were actually signed/implemented, the most i’ve seen of this is OSHA, it was implemented in December of 1960 (even then certain violations weren’t implemented i think), you cant have an OSHA violation in 1950 because it didn’t exist, the entire GoW franchise takes place in BC, we know this because there is a historical war shown in the games hence forth any modern law is null, this is also in the time where you can say “This man is an afront to Ares! He hid in times of his home being destroyed by invaders! Kill him!” And you would get away with it just because of that

    In a weak defense against the charges of Child Endangerment and Child Abandonment, had the defendant not chosen to leave his already deceased daughter in the Fields of Elysium, he would not have gone on to regain his Godly power and prevented a potentially devastating act of terrorism by Persephone that, if I remember correctly, would have erased the world from existence. And Kratos' reason for this was to prevent the soul of his daughter from being erased along with the world, ergo one could also say that his actions could be classified as self-defense, and defense of his child.

      True. A life sentence is technically only 100 years.
      Kratos is roughly 30s or 40s by GoW 1 and in GoW 2018 it has been 150 years since he opened the temple.
      Meaning he is at least 180. On the absolute lowest possible age.
      However as a full God, we have seen no upper limit for their ages. Age seems to be a showing of stress or just wanting to look old more than actually age as Zeus is younger than his brother Posiden and Zeus has white hair while Posiden does not.

    Well in my school vr game Kratos did technically got a second pardon but its weird (during the Exogon madness incident 1 of the realms that Exogon and Goalius were transported was the GOW world after Ascension which he got involved by damaging Exogons eyes which due to how Exogon is now so wanted that his murder is the pardoning of the criminal and Exogon damaged sight got him killed as he didn't see Goalius using the Infinity Blade to behead the terrorist)

    I mean, when you give out a life sentence for a crime, just a single one should do it. Everything else past that is just superfluous. Whether he lives for a century or a millennia, he would be in jail for life.

  • @JohnBluemon
    @JohnBluemon 6 месяцев назад +1

    I would say that, so long as they have Human sentience, the longer lived a species is, the higher the sentence for their murder should be.
    Considering that fighting the Gods typically puts you inside of some sort of eternal punishment, I think that killing a God would be at minimum 1,000 life sentences.
