- Video review of the TTArtisan f0.95 50mm for the Canon RF mount. Here's a link to purchase this lens on Amazon: amzn.to/3O6mC1q
Here's a link to purchase a MUCH better, very inexpensive 58mm lens cap to replace the metal screw lens cap the lens ships with: amzn.to/42ySctg
Would the aps-c specification be because of the slight differences in sensor sizes for mirroless?
Love some of these shots. One of them is strange, though. The front-on one of your car shows the background completely out of focus in the centre, but the sides (on the same plane) are far less soft. Any idea why?
I’m guessing because some of the reference points appear to be on the same plane, but actually are not. Bit of an optical illusion.
@@ThruMyLens100 Yeah, I dunno… Check out the building and the trees in the background. I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s definitely unique!
I have this lens and the shutter in not responding. What setting are need on the camera for the shutter to respond.
There's a setting for it, if im not wrong it's "release shutter without lens", i guess
Does the focus peaking or the focus guide function in the camera works with this lens?
It’s completely manual, so no.
Yes, focus peaking works with fully manual lenses with no electric connections on the R5.
Ttrtisan 50mm f0. 95 or 7artisan 50 f0. 95 ?
In manual mode, does the focus (red, blue or yellow) markers show up on the screen?
No.
Do you do the zoom in to see if you’re in focus? Usually in manual mode you can use some sort of guide lol. That’s intimidating if you can’t
@@D1ego313 - it’s not that bad…really.
@@ThruMyLens100 would you be able to upload a vid of you focusing with it. You’re the only video I’ve seen with that lens on the r6 and I’m considering it, but never got a manual focus lens. Would be insanely helpful to see it focusing on real-time! Thanks for the responses btw!
@@D1ego313 - just go for it. You won’t regret it.
Mode full or apsc?
I address this question in my review. The lens is marketed as being for APSC camera bodies, but I use it successfully without issue on my full frame R5.
