Actually, since linnmon tops are just papers wrapped with fiberboard, the middle part is not idea to screw the thyge base in, is not very stable and will not hold the pressure long enough. This thyge base should be with a Particleboard, like bekant or thyge top.

That was my thought exactly. But at least 4 out of the 6 screws are placed in the particleboard area near the edge that have good density and should be stable.

Since the ADILS legs are not in stock anywhere I actually bought the Thyge frame and did this very same thing earlier today. I am not sure how well this will last, though. It seems that the sleeves will not hold well over time. But for now it's stable and working great. 🙂

Yes, you can use the cheap IKEA ADILS legs with the LINNMON table top. Well, at least you could if they were in stock anywhere.

First, just twist the bottom portion of the leg counter-clockwise until it becomes loose, then adjust to where you’d like it and twist it clockwise until it clicks into place

@@Splishsplashin you can by anything seperate when you shop at IKEA, so yeah you can buy the Frame and the Table Top on their own
