Continuous Flow Through Worm Bin - How I Filled Mine.

After suffering with Bronchitis for 2 weeks, I've finally got enough strength (and breath) to try and fill this CFT with my African Night Crawler Composting Worms. Hopefully this will help me with my battle with space and free up some time and allow me to harvest my worm castings easier in the future.

I love the worm tea for hydration too! I don’t use coconut coir or peat moss but could use worm tea to moisten the sifted cow manure when I make up my new bins but never think to do it 😢. Good reminder Tolga!

I literally have a 5 gallon batch running all the time. If I'm not using it in my bins it's being used in the beds. Sometimes when it gets half way, I'll just add fresh water into the bin and let it bubble away so I can get a larger batch without having to change out the Castings. I then throw the castings into fresh bedding if I'm making any up or it goes straight on top of one of my Fruit trees in the garden. I used to forget as well but now it's just habit.

That is a cool CFT!! I ran into a similar problem with my Urban Worm Bag when I added water directly!! Lesson learned!!🪱🪱🪱
