You should have mentioned that it was later revealed that Dwyer was totally innocent of all charges as he was framed by a codefendant in a plea deal. Unforgivable omission bruh.
I totally forgot that myself. Not an incident to teach students though, but still huge lol
I was looking to see if someone posted that before I did. Thank you!
That’s not exactly true
"bruh"
*allegedly framed
The best memory I have of 87 is being born. Such a great year.
Love this series. Hope to see 1990-1999 in the coming weeks
I love how this series explains the origins of jokes from old Simpson's episodes. I had no idea there was an actual long burning tire fire.
The fact that you guys didn't Rick Rolled us in this video is unacceptable
Agreed.
The song first came out in 1987 but the first Rick roll didn’t upload until 2007 which I think would be a more appropriate year to insert that
Paula mcdowell it was still very noteworthy in 1987, though. Everybody knows Rick Astley but most people have forgotten “Is this love”
People get Rick Rolled to one of my videos often. I don't know who did it but it was funny suddenly seeing all of the comments about getting Rick Rolled.
@@stevetrent4638 - Which people?
Thumbs up if you're gonna rewatch the whole series from the beginning when the final year airs 🥰😊
That’s my plan as well!!
Yes, for sure!!
love this series and honestly the whole channel... pleas continue the 90s!!!!!!
My fondest memory of 1987 is... My birth.
@Jessica Jujubean 😂
I am an 87's baby as well 😘 RUclips getting creepier with it's recommendation, I didn't even put my birthdate on my RUclips account 🤨😅
I was 10 years old but I remember almost all of these things that happened.
No you don’t
Iceman3000 yees 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡🤡😈🤡😈🤡
The tire fire was my favorite line of this video, so funny!!
Finally, the year that I was born!
1987 was the best year for music. I want to time travel to that summer and just stay there.
A few years ago, my stepdad was up in the attic getting the Christmas stuff and found the 1987 People Magazine Year in Pictures. Lots of the same stories. That's the year I turned 13 and it seems like yesterday.
I love this series, please keep making these, I would love to see the 90s!
You could do a whole show on the movies of 1987.
the pun and PT&A clip alone are worth the thumbs up. "I'm Owen" thanks
I can’t believe I never heard of 7-Up Gold! It sounds like something I would’ve enjoyed.
Prince released his legendary double album Sign o' the Times on March 30, 1987
Public Enemy also made their debut in Feb of 87 with the release of Yo Bum Rush The Show which they recorded in 1986 just months before the iconic drum machine EMU sp1200 was released in the summer of 87.
The Running Man hit the theaters in the latter part of the year, this time Arnie would be "bakk" for the corrupt game show host Killian. "Here's Subzero, now plain zero."
"I'll be back!" "Only in reruns..."
I think we can all agree the biggest thing to happen in 1987 was of course the debut of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The Simpsons were a strong competitor for a decade or so but TMNT has definitely aged better.
Umm, the Ninja Turtles debuted in 1984. In a black and white Comic.
Or the debut of Guns N’ Roses appetite for destruction
Alongside Predator and RoboCop, although I only managed to watch these movies for the first time as a kid around 1989-1990
Negative. It was the Bundy’s.
