  • Here's the first full review of the all-new 2021 Land Rover Defender 90, driven on-road and off-road - Shahzad Sheikh looks at it's ability, practicality and whether it's a real Defender or not?
    Now you're probably thinking, surely the new Defender has been out a while already? Indeed, and with some success. The Defender 110 clocked up 4500 sales in July, one of the best months ever for the company - but that's the four-door long-wheel base version. The two-door edition was delayed.
    And now here it is, with prices starting from AED234 (for entry-level car with coil suspension rather than air suspension as standard) and rising to over AED372k for the top spec X P400.
    We drive the top spec on the road and then spend a day traversing the bogs of the Eastnor hills in a coil-sprung Defender 90 P300.
    We also drove one of the Defender 110 stunt cars used in the next James Bond movie, but that's a separate video you'll find here • We Drive Stunt Car Def...

    Thank you for paying special attention to the boot and rear seats, as well as mentioning your height. It gives the viewer a better understanding of the vehicle's dimensions.

      Hate to burst the bubble but:
      JLR is Indian owned and the Defender (and discovery) are made in Slovakia...

      @@MotoringMiddleEast Oh, yeah, seeing so many of them on the road here has made me forget that they aren't even for sale here.

      @@BrownCarGuy When I was young, when ever my mother would catch me without wearing my seatbelt, she would yell at me with a silly high pitch broken english voice, "SEAT.. BELT!!!!" Always emphasizing the "BELT" in seatbelt. I've always try to mimic it to others a I grew older. Nowadays it usually ends up being more funny than serious.
      So when I saw you in the vid, I had yelled it out in my head, "SEAT... BELT!!!!!" hehe

      Actually think the version with air suspension is the way to go - the car's designed for it.

    • @2011blueman
      @2011blueman 3 года назад

      @@MotoringMiddleEast Land Rover air suspension ALWAYS fails. Steelies and coils are going to be more reliable than the air suspension.
