  • The Founder (2016)
The true story of how Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton), a struggling salesman from Illinois, met Mac (John Carroll Lynch) and Dick McDonald (Nick Offerman), who were running a burger operation in 1950s Southern California. Kroc was impressed by the brothers' speedy system of making the food and saw franchise potential. Kroc soon maneuvers himself into a position to be able to pull the company from the brothers and create a multi-billion dollar empire.

I agree completely. After watching that movie I hated that guy! the way he left his wife at the end and kicked her to the curb, and left her with nothing enraged me! Because she truly at least in the movie, seemed like a really good, kind, and genuine woman who really loved him and stood by him even when he was a nobody.. And for him to do her dirty like that really made me mad! He May be right about the name an all, but at the same time I feel like he was the start to McDonald’s going way down in quality. He cared about money and quantity over quality. while they cared about quality over quantity. It’s really too bad that they got involved with that snake..🐍

The original commenter and the first comment reply are dumb as s***😂😂😂 the only thing you remotely got right is Croc is probably an evil piece of s*** yeah you're right but at the same time he saw the opportunity and took it those two guys and this is pretty well-known and if you want to try to fall in the Underdog bandwagon that's fine and dandy but they were never going to be more than like a three-star operation that's all they were ever going to be and it's not the fact that they didn't try to be more because they constantly did this scene proves how mad they are that they couldn't make their thing successful but this guy took it and made it instantly more successful than they could have ever imagined
