I have an old blue hammer urethane I picked up at a garage sale and it's great. Just bought a Tank Yellow Jacket a month or so ago and I've had my best games ever with it... I'm a 160 average and in practice had 5 or 6 games over 200 recently which is really good for me. Just cashed in 5th place in a no tap tournament today with it which was my first ever tournament. I'm definitely planning on getting a rampage pearl at some point. I took the yellow jacket up to 2000 on the surface and it's been great ever since.
I have a Hammer Black Widow urethane plus a Hammer Magenta Pearl urethane (same as Purple Pearl, just international version). Gives me two distinctly different ball motions.
I just recently added a nu blue hammer to my arsenal and I’m loving it! My bag consists of a radical trailblazer solid, phase 2 and the nu blue hammer, I’m really happy with all of my balls as I find I have a very well rounded arsenal
Super review Jimoo. To answer your question I just got the Hammer NU Blue a month ago and it is a house shot killer on the left side. The look it gives suits my I since my league and competitive bowling starting in the early 80's so urethane looks right to my eye going down the lane and this NU Blue gives me just a bit more back end to boot.
multiple. Just waiting for hammer to release the black pearl urethane bowling ball. I already have the NU Blue. Thinking about getting a purple hammy too someday
I was so happy when I read your comment . I bowl the same way , 4 months in but I’m not bad. I just got the NU and dude that ball seems pretty flexible. The only thing I noticed is it wasn’t great on an alley where it seemed super dry and was forced way left . I like playing the gutter more with the NU. If I were to have the NU and one more strike ball to compliment 1 hand no thumb bowling arsenal for leagues ( THS ) what would it be and which ball to use first?
I’m a league bowler and have the NU and it’s been my goto since I got it! If I ever dwell into tournaments I probably would add the black hammer, but that new tank looks pretty sweet!
I have multiple urethanes, all hammer. I have the purple hammer, the pink widow……no comment, and I just got the NU yesterday. I pretty much gave up on my pink widow, but I’m hoping to great a one two punch with my purple and NU
I have a bunch but my spare ball till I bowl harder patterns. OG Tank Rampage, Fast Pitch, Purple Hammer, UC3 and a Zen U. I kinda like the fake urethanes for a league shot though. They flare a bit more for me. Fun stuff
i only bowl on house shots so i dont use urethane. that being said, when i start bowling tournaments, i think i'm going to pick up a purple hammer or an iq urethane. i love motiv but it seems like theyre pretty far behind with their mcp "urethane" tech stuff.
Yes, I have many urethane balls both vintage and modern. I have pretty much owned or own every modern urethane ball made and go to league with arsenals of urethane balls.
I recently got a pitch black from someone. But it was an old one that was banned in most things so I recently pre-ordered a black hammer urethane. I’ve watched many videos on the black hammer and it looks really good. I’m also debating on getting a iq too maybe. Or get the tank idk. Might just stick to the black hammer. I’ll have to use it a bit before I think about buying a new urethane
I am really thinking about this tank. I have the blue tank and I love it. But looking for a weaker ball. I had hip replacement and lost a lot of speed so I am having issues with over hooking. Looking for something smooth and controllable. Has anyone compared to the blue tank. I wish they would bring back the dessert tank.
I’m new to bowling and I am going back and forth. I was told to get an entry level ball first and was told to look at the raw hybrid. Would that be a good choice before moving to one of these that you showcase in the video ?
@@fbi10 I’m 2 handed no thumb also and started a couple years ago. If I had to start all over again I would just buy either the Roto Grip Duo, Motiv Venom Shock, or Storm Phaze 2, then a plastic spare ball. Once your form gets better and more consistent then start looking at higher performance balls and urethane.
I throw the same and I am new too. Check your rev and ball speed , big part of which ball will work well. I really like the NU so far. At the one house I play at, averaging 178 over 10 games but the ball was not a great fit for on the dry lanes at the other house I’m at. Try to borrow people’s balls if you can for a few shot and ask questions at the alley. You’ll start to gravitate towards a ball and if you think it fits your play style, pull the trigger. Make sure the tech is aware of your pap and only 2 fingers for special pitches and talk about which layout would be best for you .
just got the new IQ 78U and I left-two hand it. and I got to say, it hooks like a motherf***er and was told that it was more aggressive than the purple hammer. but i am planning on getting a purple hammer as well for slight more predictability and the pitch black as well.
It's amazing, before you know it there will be 6 urethane balls in ever bowlers bag... Except mine. I have 0 urethane balls and have not needed or wanted one. You even said you have 4 as a 2 hander. I am also a 2 hander, and bowl tournaments and leagues and use all reactive (and plastic spare ball) I'm yet to lose the ability to control anything I throw to need a urethane ball. Good thing I'm better than most to bowl around or through all the urethane carry down
COMMENT: Do you have multiple urethane bowling balls? Or just one?

That tank looks STOUT
Really looking forward to this…. The tank rampage pearl looks like it could replace an aging piece in my bag that I’ve not quite been able to replace.

I’m a newer competitive bowler. I have the NU. I really like it , but on dryer conditions it really hooks hard . That 78 storm looked awesome
He isn't really throwing it in "dry" conditions. It's a fresh shorter pattern

I haven't drilled my NU Blue yet. My Attitude Control is my go to urethane.
of course several. I use purple hammer, fast pitch, pitch blue and natural pearl. I like vintage balls

Pitch Black and look at getting the IQ 78 because they look great when playing a little straight.
I have a pitch, purple, and NU blue. First balls out of my bag on sport shots. Even have a plastic ball for drier lanes. One hand, no 👍.

I have the Carbide Tank and the Purple Tank. I am thinking about the Rampage pearl to replace my Desert Tank.
Just a note: Tank Rampage uses Micro cell polymer (slow absorbing reactive).
I have multiple urethanes, all hammer. I have the purple hammer, the pink widow……no comment, and I just got the NU yesterday. I pretty much gave up on my pink widow, but I’m hoping to great a one two punch with my purple and NU
I have the Purple Tank urethane, and the Tank Blitz with the MCP cover stock. Maybe you can polish the Tank Yellow Jacket.
I got 2 urethanes in my bag, the IQ tour 78/u and the 78d Black pearl urethane by hammer, rlly like the both of them.
I have a bunch but my spare ball till I bowl harder patterns. OG Tank Rampage, Fast Pitch, Purple Hammer, UC3 and a Zen U. I kinda like the fake urethanes for a league shot though. They flare a bit more for me. Fun stuff

I have 2 NU, the IQ78, and the Hammer Black Pearl Urethane.
Cool video talk tech bowling
If the Tank is at 500 grit, bring it down to 360 and see how it compares to the Purple Hammer.
Yes, I have many urethane balls both vintage and modern. I have pretty much owned or own every modern urethane ball made and go to league with arsenals of urethane balls.
And what's your average

I have a Purple Hammer and Nu Blue in my bag. I can throw the Nu on longer patterns becuase it hooks too much on short for me
What’s Jimoo finger pitches?

Black Hammer?
I am sticking with the Purple
what weight do you bowl?
Closest thing to urethane I have is Zen U
can u comapre it to the new black pearl ?
Reviews coming soon!
I would put this tank in the urethane like motion category... It's been awhile since they made a true urethane tank I believe

Are you a traditional 1 handed bowler, one handed bowler no thumb, or 2 handed bowler no thumb?
@@daspeakeasies 2 handed no thumb

@@daspeakeasies oh so don’t even go for the raw hybrid ? I appreciate the feedback. All the different bowling balls out there it gets overwhelming.

Attitude control and blue hammer
anyone knows how is this tank rampage compare to blue tank?

Would you use the tank as a spare ball?
Hi do you celebrate CNY in your country?
Oh yeah
I have 2 true urethane balls , and 2 urethane like balls
Where's the mouse?

Motiv tanks are also not urethane
I was about to say the same, well there are urethane tanks, but this one is MCP and the second ball vid where they kept saying it was urethane.
@@etarnkufecin your right I forgot some older tanks are urethane
But it’s not urethane, it’s MCP.
Urethane, the best bowling clickbait to date. 36' Pegasus, yeah everyone bowls on this. Thanks for the promo vid Jimoo...FOH
