Finally a sketchbook tour that actually looks like a sketchbook! Great pieces but also sketches and unfinished pieces, studies, this warms my heart because I relate to that
My dearest pear fleur, A year ago, one of our lovely family cats passed, and I will never forget that on her last week with us, she was already really sick and i sat with her on the couch to watch one of your videos; I have been a huge fan of your work for over 6 years already, I never skip or lose a video, but somehow, now, even a year later, I watch your videos and they remind me of our little Mononoke, sitting with me, on the couch, watching you paint. So, I just want to say thanks, for making part of such a beautiful and meaningful memory for me. And to my little Mononoke, I miss you, and I’ll love you forever. Lüi ❤
Just an idea. Since the pastels offer such soft vague shapes and the markers more crisp graphic shapes, I think after hitting the pastels with the spray fixative it would be an interesting experiment to attempt to layer the markers over the pastels. The combo could offer some fun design challenges.
Your sketches have such an interesting vibe, soft pastel ones especially. They look familiar, but not quite identifyable, like some fuzzy childhood memories.
It was such a treat to see inside your sketchbook in this video, thank you. I enjoyed seeing all the different ways you fill it, the mini series on pages, the practising, the different mediums, the imagination and creativity. What a delight!
i just want to say a big thank you for posting your stunning art. I've always had a need for everything to be perfect, but you've helped me realise art is an expression and that beauty is within the eye of the beholder. you've been helping me get through my artist's block with your videos and i am forever thankful. i haven't painted in over half a year but yesterday (with your videos in the background!) i put brush to paper and started creating. My comment doesn't do justice to the good you're doing. You are such an inspiration. Thank you so much :)
I love Royal Talens Art Creations sketchbook! I just bought three new ones in that same size to have on rotation. I can never keep to one sketchbook at a time either. Gorgeous video, as always! It's the exact kind of calm energy I need after hosting Thanksgiving.
Yasss love the sketchbook tour, it's been so long since the last one I think. You always make me remember my stored away supplies that have accumulated dust. I think you moved somewhat recently so a studio tour would be fun to watch:) I also love watching you paint color studies, or painting with your nicker poster colors 🩵
I would love a video giving some insight on your thought process when starting a illustration! I’ve been watching your videos for years and seeing your art evolve inspires me to keep doing art, another banger video as always 🙌
Thank you again for another amazing video, you put so much hard work into the filming and editing as you do creating an inspiring and soothing video. Your art always inspiring to pick up my very neglected mediums and to get over my fear of filling up my sketchbooks. Also, the cat bloopers were the cherry on top I hope we'll see their cameos in future videos!
I love your videos and just the chill vibes. I'd love to maybe see more into some of your inspiration ,your art journey or such and what making art means for you. Great video once again . Keep going .
It’s always so satisfying to watch your art and its process! I love your music-only videos too, but I kind of miss your voice-over videos. It’s really relaxing to listen to your commentary while watching you draw or test supplies. I hope you can make videos sharing your thoughts about your art, inspiration, and the drive that keeps you going.
YAY!! I love when you post and always look forward to it, thank you so much for your hard work, both in your art and in your recording+editing! I love your world if that makes sense. Every video is like a trip I get to take, visiting this cool intangible place that you've created through a combination your physical space, your editing, your art, your voice, your ideas. We love you:)))
ive been following your channel since the polymer clay days, well over a decade now (sorry for making you feel old lol). i just wanted to say, even as your art style and mediums have evolved over the years, you continue to make worlds i wish i could live in. 💖
whenever i watch a video of you, it always motivates me to do more art. i dream of a life like yours. also, the kittens are so cute! hope to see then more 💖
Just now subscribed after watching your video and then found out you have shared this brand new one just an hour ago! Your channel is special, I got inspired by you 🩵
Thank you for this lovely video. In the color swatches, what is the difference between the upper A swatches and the bottom B swatches? Are they different markers? AND you can layer colored pencils on top? Stunning.
Have you seen art of the swedish painter Hilma af Klint? Some of your art reminds me of her (like at 02:38). She lived about a century ago and is still widely unknown, despite being a pioneer in abstract art years before more famous artist like Kandinsky or Mondrian created theirs. There's a current exhibition of Hilma's art in Bilbao Spain, you can see some of her pieces on the Guggenheim museum page, too, like "the ten largest" (literally). I love her art, it's wholesome somehow a mix of natural and abtract elements. Thanks for showing your sketchbook and work in progess! 03:00 makes me think of studio Ghibli movie background sceneries :) Your cute cats seem to enjoy your japanese pastels as much as you do. Hope you're aware of the precautions mentioned on choosingkeeping for the usage? Loved the shots of the colors shown from 10:57 🌈♥!
How long do you have to wait int between layering the markers? I find when I use markers, the colors often mix together and stain the tip of the lighter color. Does that happen with these Arrtx markers? Also, your videos are always so soothing and inspiring to watch 😊
It is usually related to the paper used for the coloring. Generally speaking, wait 10 seconds after using the marker to allow the color to dry before overlaying the colors can avoid staining the marker tip.
I gave away a set of soft pastels cuz i could never figure out what exactly to do with them. They are so messy but i really like the way you use them here. I've never seen them applied like that!
I love your art so much. Are you thinking of ever making a zine or selling prints? All good if that isn't the case! I can imagine that'd be a lot of work
Am I the only one who thinks it’s silly that the markers didn’t just come with the stickers on them??? Seems like an unnecessary set-up step, and one clear reason I wouldn’t buy them. I’m not spending money to do more work! 😂
I appreciate your points of view. From my side, I think it would really help me get to the know the markers and the range of colors if I was the boss of the number labels. I like it.
I don't want to discount the art, because that was lovely as usual, but could you share what the background music for the video was? I found it so relaxing.
You know it’s a good day when PearFleur posts
🥹😭

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss & thank you for sharing such a heartwarming memory of Mononoke .. ❤
Just an idea. Since the pastels offer such soft vague shapes and the markers more crisp graphic shapes, I think after hitting the pastels with the spray fixative it would be an interesting experiment to attempt to layer the markers over the pastels. The combo could offer some fun design challenges.
amazing idea. will try!
Thank you for adding video footage of your cats curiously sniffing your new art supplies, it made the video even more wholesome ☺
Your sketches have such an interesting vibe, soft pastel ones especially. They look familiar, but not quite identifyable, like some fuzzy childhood memories.
Well said. I was searching for words to describe it.
Thanks for showing a real sketchbook and not just the masterpieces. ❤
It was such a treat to see inside your sketchbook in this video, thank you. I enjoyed seeing all the different ways you fill it, the mini series on pages, the practising, the different mediums, the imagination and creativity. What a delight!

I like how calming your videos are
That’s why I hate it when there are ads… oh look, one started playing just as I’m typing this. Really ruins the calming vibe
Kittens want to do art too :D reminds me of the medieval manuscripts with cat paw prints on it 😅
Close to a million subscribers on your channel. With every video, I can totally see why. Love the baby kitties, they go so well with art.😸💖😽
I don't understand how you haven't hit one million yet. You're incredible.
I love Royal Talens Art Creations sketchbook! I just bought three new ones in that same size to have on rotation. I can never keep to one sketchbook at a time either. Gorgeous video, as always! It's the exact kind of calm energy I need after hosting Thanksgiving.
Great to see you layer the acrylic markers and pencil! Will give that a go too :)

Kitties love art supplies too 💕
I loved watching you flip through your sketchbook, it was so therapeutic and gave me motivation to draw in my sketchbook more!
It’s my birthday in a few days time but I’m honestly happier about a PearFleur video.
If only you sold prints of your art. I love it so.
Happy birthday 🎂🎁🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎁
Yay I bought acrylic markers a few months ago and haven’t really used them that much. This is good motivation!
I like the brush tip on those markers 😮 also I loved seeing your sketchbook full of drawings and doodles. 😊
What delicious layering of color! ❤

Just now subscribed after watching your video and then found out you have shared this brand new one just an hour ago! Your channel is special, I got inspired by you 🩵
Wonderful video, very calming and relaxing to watch. 💚💚💚
Oo I've never thought to use chalk pastels in my sketchbook and then use a spray fixative. so lovely
Thank you for this lovely video.
In the color swatches, what is the difference between the upper A swatches and the bottom B swatches? Are they different markers?
AND you can layer colored pencils on top?
Stunning.
such a lovely video- thank you for posting! I absolutely adore your style of drawing
Your video is so relaxing and inspiring ❤❤❤ love it

You know it’s a good day if you see pearfleur’s new video 😌
So beautiful!! Your aesthetic style is outstanding.
I would love to see you working in your sketchbook more 😊
the markers look so smooth!!
wow, i was just looking at those pastels and really wanted someone to make a review on them!!!
To everyone jumping on the Arrtx marker train: These markers have a strong odor. I returned them immediately. You've been warned.
Oh damn really? I got one of the smaller sets and I didn’t smell anything that’s unfortunate!
I have these and I don’t smell anything- huh, interesting…
🤤🖋️🥴
I like that 😅😂
Pastel paintings are really interesting ❤
I love your art and videos!💖🌾🍄🌿
Your videos are always so relaxing
I was just yapping at my mom about pearfleur's videos!
Beautiful video and art. Which soft pastel set did you use?
I have those exact paint markers and I love them so much 10/10 I definitely recommend
the kitties being interested in art 😆 they are representing us watching you create
OH I also bought this brand Marker! the acrylic brush marker is really popular now! But in colors I think posca still slays~ xixixi
I own a sketchbook from the same brand and I found it quite good ! I'm curious to see how you fell about it :) Great video as always
Such a treat!!
Yeaayyyyy queen is back
omg your kittens are so cute :3
lovely and inspiring as always
Hello @PearFleur ! I really love the way you do those little environment studies. Could I ask how you learned to do them?
My anxiety says thank you so much ❤❤❤
Great video! What is the first sketchbook and brand of purple tape. Thanks.
Can you recommend a good fixative for soft pastels?

Everything is beautiful😍
I’m wondering if we can use acrylic markers and alcohol based markers together? Thanks
How long do you have to wait int between layering the markers? I find when I use markers, the colors often mix together and stain the tip of the lighter color. Does that happen with these Arrtx markers? Also, your videos are always so soothing and inspiring to watch 😊

Best ASMR ever 😔🫵🏻✨️
thank you for your videos
I gave away a set of soft pastels cuz i could never figure out what exactly to do with them. They are so messy but i really like the way you use them here. I've never seen them applied like that!
Your channel seems so amazing and inspiring,
you got yourself a new subscriber /
art 🖋️🖊️✏️🖍️ furriend from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.
Thank you 😺👍.
I am religiously dedicated to Artxx acrylic markers! I just love them! I don’t use the Stu lees though, since they don’t sell individual refills. 😊
Lindo lindo lindo! Simplesmente lindo
Wow your drawings look amazing!! Can I ask which brand of soft pastel that you were using? Thanks very much!!
I would love to see your take on making a zine!!
Love this!! 🌿☘️🌻💖
Does anyone know what was used for the black and white pieces? Are they watercolor? Cause they look so cool.
In the sketchbook, the black nd white stuff is mostly windsor and newton black gouache or Artgraf watersoluble graphite!
I love your content.
💐💐💐💐💐 Thank You!!
I was thinking the same!
Lmao I thought the same. Very satisfying but not my f work to do😂
I appreciate your points of view.
From my side, I think it would really help me get to the know the markers and the range of colors if I was the boss of the number labels. I like it.
@@kashfiahare3190me too 😌
Not only this but what if you mix a label? Then when your marker runs out it’s harder to buy the single color replacement….
I don't want to discount the art, because that was lovely as usual, but could you share what the background music for the video was? I found it so relaxing.
would love to see you try out making a zine!
Hi, where is your shelving unit from? Love your videos, would love a new studio tour!
I’d love to see another movie frame paintings again
I love you PearFleur
hello, ty for the video. Are those markers like the Karin Deco markers? They are acrylic right? because that's cool, I only know the Karins. Cheers.
